Ok here we go guys

Some time ago I got a 400 Miles by Model Racing after a 1000Km roadtrip
Two days ago I put the game into the workshop (moving the WIP Hard Drivin' away)
At first all it did was turn on some funs a motor (that should not move) and reset the score/timer display (nixie tube/leds)

Some fuse holder, broken trace and a bridge rectifier later I have got this...

It's alive!!!
Now I need to clean all the optical parts, the lens were covered by a LOT of dust, and some still. As you can see in the video I have to turn all the light off to see the game

Right now the only problem is that the game did not dectect crash, almost a dust problem. at 0:43 you can see what should happend when you crash into the other cars.

No "sound" right now I have to open the 8track player to check it first.

I started working on it a week or two ago.
At first I thought I have only to repaint something and repair the left side as it is/was water damaged.

In the end I'm rebuilding it from the ground up. I've NEVER done any wood works, but I think it's going well.


What game is it?

Sort of off topic, but it still a laser game ....

A friend come around with a

-Cliffy disc
-7 (SEVEN) boards

We have just to build all the wiring loom.... EASY, and find out if the board work or not.

The good thing is that we have my dedicated Cliffy to clone
This "kit" will be installed in a normal cab since the original one we don't realy know where it is, or if it still exist!!!!!
After some hours of work and a couple of strange problems in the board the game now work

First this is a LONG time restoration i have limited spare time and at the end this will be a NEW game so ake it easy

I don't have pics before I have started the restoration, 1 year ago, but the only thing I have done in this year is pull out every thing  from the cab!!!!! So you now undestand what i mean for SLOW restoration!!!!
