Meetings, Exhibition, Events... / BEerCade 2019
« on: November 09, 2018, 10:18:04 PM »
We need a meet in Belgium.

I know I'm not a core member of the DLF crew, but WFT.

Round about Carnaval 2019, my plan is we have:

1. A microbrewery
2. A bunch of pins
3. A bunch of cabs
4. A bunch of consoles
5. Some modern VR kit
6. Cheap accommodation close by

The idea isn't a Eurocade. It's something different.
It's to kick off a regular meet of European "arcade lifestyle" enthusiasts.  Absolutely, it's the same folk on here, and on the UK forums. It's also for those who just want to turn up and play a bit with old cabs, or have an excuse to do something different.

I'm a no profit guy - the event will be set up as such.

This is happening. I don't want bad feeling or whatever from the elder members here. I'm a collector and die-hard enthusiast who has zero interest in making money from the arcade scene. Times are getting "interesting" though, and if we (serious collectors) don't do things to keep the community alive, we'll lose to the HyperSpin and rip/flip lot.

I know it's got rather quiet here lately, but I have an Asteroids I've bought from CoinOp Warehouse.
Does anyone know of a container coming over?

Arcade Lifestyle / Renting somewhere for games
« on: September 19, 2017, 08:42:56 PM »
I know some of you guys had/have rented "space" to either store or even store and play your cabs.
What sort of price would I be paying per square metre for a small unit with power?

It's not just for me - but a flipper mate of mine also. He has about 15 pinballs across various friends and relatives.

Somewhere south(ish) of Brussels.

I've been looking on Immoweb, VLAN and 2ememain - and I don't see much.

Arcade Lifestyle / Atari Tournament Table

Hi guys,

I'm pretty happy to have picked this up yesterday from Zonhoven - the owner's father used to own a bar, and his uncle was the local games operator.

My flipper friend found it advertised, he doesn't have the space (neither do I, but I love Atari).
I'd never seen or even heard of one of these before - I guess I was way too young to be in bars etc in 78 :)

Does anyone on here have one, or know of any others around? I did see on flipperforum.be a couple of years back one for sale - not the same one - so there's at least one other in BE

Hi,

I have a 91 Puzzle Bobble MVS, but the panel only has 3 buttons per player.
There are a lot of games on the 161-in-1 (plus other game cards) that are minimum 4 buttons.
I like the look of the square buttons - would anyone have buttons or a full panel they'd be willing to sell me?

I'll try to get the picture upload working...

Hello,

I'm looking to buy - at a reasonable price - a Vectrex console and some games. Please :)

Collection around Brussels/South of Brussels.

All the rest / Hello from me

Hi,

I'm OCB. A recent UKVAC member who actually happens to live just south of Brussels.

Blame my wife's friend husband for me being here. He let me have a pinball on long term loan - and he happens to have some arcade cabinets + other flippers in his garage.

My boys love the pinball and arcade games. It awoke my old passion in video arcades.
I started a few months ago. I have a small garage - room for 3 or 4 cabs. I already have 3 cabs: a generic MVS single slot with Puzzle Bobble, an AfterBurnerII and an Atari Breakout which needs a PCB. So, if anyone has a Breakout PCB.....

I have the cab - but missing the PCB (+ various small internal bits)

Good price paid for working PCB.
