Hi DLF friends!

I'm looking for a Super Galaxian PCB for complete my Zacc cab ( https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=7371.0 )

I have some other Zaccaria stuff  (Marquee or bezel mainly..) to exchange for that board.

Thanks for help me...

Arcade Lifestyle / Zaccaria Galaxia found in Italy
« on: November 02, 2017, 09:25:05 PM »
I have few time for the hobby in this part of my life... but I'll working about.

..to the worst case it will be the activity of my retirement life.. if I'll never reach it   ..

Anyway: I have found this cab two summers ago, collaterally to another Cab catch in North Est of Italy...

..so I decide to pick also this one.

The Cab it's, like long Italian tradition, "jammized" inside... no CPO, inside a (ugly) 17" color monitor, no Zaccaria power supply and the transformer looks no genuine as well.
..in few words: nothing genuine inside it...

Externally the Cab it's in a decent shap, after all (..for a comparison with others cabs in Italy..).

..the CPO it's possible to repro by Paul's scanner acquisition, but to find the Marquee will be very difficult...

I'm putting in order my PCB.
Some of that (double or more lay PCB..) lack of standoff, other need to replace it.

Any tips about?
... better silicon or metal?
For a general ("quite universal".. ::)) use, wich measure do you suggest?

Artwork / RAL Color for Zaccaria
« on: February 05, 2016, 11:36:47 AM »
I don't know if It's a just talked topic...

Yesterday I have try to match RAL table color with 2 Zaccaria Control Panel (I have to repaint it) and 1 Quasar from frontal panel (..it's lack of CP)

The color are not the same to my eyes, anyway the closest are:

"DEEP BLUE" (..not so usual, I have see, Vanguard in Dark Blue ver.)--->  RAL 5011

BROWN (usual on Stars and Vanguard)---> RAL 8019

AUBERGINE (usual on Quasar)---> RAL 4007

..the not so closest to RAL it's for me the AUBERGINE (DARK VIOLET)..for the other probably I'll take a RAL Spray...

The paint color made on commission by reference pattern will be more accurate, but for one little surface, used 1 time only, probably the RAL standard spray will be good..

If you have more color to add I'll be happy to know..

Arcade Lifestyle / [Road Trip] Lunar Rescue from Genova
« on: January 03, 2016, 03:23:34 PM »
In this holyday I have found the time to "take my time"...
...so, once again, I'm embarassed to post this Road Trip... but my conclusion is: here it's the right place over all each other.. so..

This Road Trip was one year old..
..but was my very first "Road Trip" documented (I hope) in DLF style (after many wonderful one read here, I decide to try..)
..and.. for my first one " Original Cab "!!

..same week before the Road Trip I have answer to an advertisement...and the luck was by my side that time!!

LET'S START THE ROAD-TRIP!!

Saturday, 20 Dicember 2014

Always start with a good espresso for wake up me!

The Cab-Mobile it's ready, and waiting to start...

This is the Trip...about 200 km far away

Xmas is in the air...

..around Milano the traffic was intense for a Saturday at 6.00 AM..but this wasn't the problem I was afraid...

..this was my problem: the FOG outside the city!! ...I hope it don't follow me along the whole Road Trip!

I was very lucky, and the worst part of famous "Serravalle" motorway the fog fade for the sun!

..but, probably for the incoming Xmas week holydays, fraffic to Genova was annunced

...but anyway, I'm happy the same for the good weather condition (It's could be a driving nightmare with the fog!)

... like I said..

..I'm just arrive to Genova..

..the city!!

...from this moment I have a problem: I have forget at home the mobile phone charger  ,

and for high battery absorption of GPS accross the Liguria's mountain and tunnel, I have only the charge to make one call to the seller for meet up us...

so the other photo are made just return at home ...anyway:

TA DA!!

this is the wrapped beast just unloaded from the car!

Model Racing (one of my favorite Italian brand):  Lunar Rescue

..good side art!

..bezel detail..

...and this is the recap of that Road Trip.

..I hope you enjoy.

Arcade Lifestyle / [Road Trip] Space Invaders rescue on Appennini
« on: January 02, 2016, 02:31:57 PM »
..I was a litte embarrassed to write this mine road trip...cause I know it's not so well documented like the DLF usual standard.

Anyway I decide to write my little contribution to this, never dead, wonderful forum.

The story start in the middle of this African summer, when an advertisement had caught my attention ...
Some time further, I decided to contact the advertiser, but with the upcoming holidays in August at the start, and the pressing work of closing the season, I could not combine anything concrete, except a little safe " ..we'll take an agreement after holydays .. ".

..finally that moment came for real, and the first weekend in early Fall was the day!

Let's start the ROAD TRIP!!

September 26, 2015, Saturday

... as usual mine Roadtrip starts an early morning, with a good espresso..

..the "Cab-mobile" is Ready

..for "no surprises" I do the full, immediately

..this is the trip: over 250 Km for arrival ... and the return, maybe even more ...
.. I have warned my friends of Reggio Emilia I'm in the nearby and we make a lunch meeting together towards the 13.00..I'll hope to get all, on time!

... Obviously part that dawn has not yet come ... I will see the light Km later

.. Direction Bologna: motorway straights comfortable 3 ... and than 4 lanes!

..a mirage after about two hours of non-stop driving...it's the sunrise!

...not so far from destination...but I will be back here (and not by motorway) for lunch!

..this clouds in the sky worry me...anyway : still exit Modena reached!

..I do drive by the navigator ...I'll start to climb the Apennini !

The sky is clearing for luck, and the view is very beautiful, the fascinating panorama
... But I have the impression that the Navigator is in the grip of some bug in the system ..

..and fact these roads that I wanted to go I do not seem the ultimate in comfort ...
..I hope only not to hole a tire on these streets..
..from now on driving it is very tense and I will not touch more room for photos ... except to say that:

TA-DA !!!
Here's what to expect at my destination!

..the Space Invaders by Model Racing !! ..one of my favorites Italian "brand"!

... Load the beast itself was not simple thing ..
.. however, having already loaded it's cousin "Lunar Resque" I just know it's possible to charge ..

..charge it for some mm, of course!

..and almost driving with legs crashed.

..and I regret for this a little: the hotel on Modena's Appenini... a fine structure, fell into ruin ..
The Space Invaders, came from there: the little games room ...
I wonder how many kids at the time, went beyond to make vacation and play games all afternoon or evening closing, before getting into the room, with the last "100 Lire" for the last day play in the pocket, before going to sleep ..
Although I can not stop the decline of modern times, however, I believe that, at least a piece of this "lost world" was saved by this catch...

..it's time to go back to the north, and to relieve the hardships of the day with a tasty lunch with my Arcade's friend in Reggio Emilia.

..unfortunately, as often happens to me in the back, a little fatigue and Km, I have not properly documented the total Km (about 600) and the discharge of Cab ... ::)

..anyway I hope you enjoyed this road trip sharing...

Technical Area / Zaccaria T-molding width
« on: November 17, 2014, 11:20:02 PM »
How much width is the Zaccaria's T-molding? ...in mm...

..in particualr I'm refering about the usual UP-Right cab (curved marquee).

At last I'm notice that I've 2 color in my cab: "like silver", "like gold (but not too shining)"

Arcade Lifestyle / My first Stars Spalsh
« on: September 28, 2014, 08:27:15 PM »
Like I told I'm quite fresh news in the Arcade World.
All started this year in Jen when I come to know that the amusement machine of my infancy was "on the market".
Few month later, I had understood more knowledge about the cabs...and I slowly falling in love for Zaccaria.
I belive I never play on this cabs when I was child (my attentions was on the game inside, not for the cab) ..but 30 years later (now) I'm happy to discover this cabs produced in "my" '80 years.

On April I found an advertisement for a "stars spash" at about 200 Km far away from me.
