'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / [SOLD] SEGA Gee Bee cabinet
« on: March 19, 2016, 09:50:58 PM »
Hello.

I'm selling a working SEGA Gee Bee upright cabinet :

It's in very good condition.
PCB is from Namco.
Pot is new and is very smooth.
Nice panel with game instructions in french.
Back door is missing, but I provide with a clean wood backboard (sorry, not sure of the translation) to be fitted. I was too lazy to finish that part.
Little screen burn, but you don't see it during play.
Can post more pictures on request.

Price : 350,00 EUR

Cabinet is to be picked up in France near Besançon :

For sale is my Atari Missile commande upright game :

Screen and PCB are both working.  :)
Trackball has been restored and is greatly working.
Screen has a new capkit. PCB power supply too.
There is a piece of wood missing (bottom left side) and I was too lazy to rebuilt it !
Can post more pictures on request.

Price : 700,00 EUR.

Technical Area / Can you identify this PCB ?
« on: February 11, 2013, 06:52:49 AM »
Hello.

This PCB has been on a shelf at home for a long.
Could you please help me to identify it ?

All original chips where build on 1979 ~ 1980.
Big black chip on bottom is a Z80 CPU.
It seems to have 5 x Texas 2516 EPROMS as CPU code.
In the middle is missing a 2101 RAM chip (empty socket), removed by me some years ago.
On the left, there are 2 other Texas 2516 EPROMS (gfx ??? ).
On the top left corner, there are 5 x DIL-16 chips on a socket, with maybe 2 missing chips.

I could dump EPROMs and ask MAME to identify dumps, but my EPROM programmer doesn't handle 2516's.

It looks like an Atari PCB for me, but all Atari PCB I own do have an explicit visible Atari signature on them.

Thanks for your help !  :)

Hello.

I just registered here.
No (sticky) thread "present yourself here" was found, so this post is to introduce myself.

I'm Fabrice, 39 years old, living in France.
Some of you may already know me, I'm present on the french gamoover.net forum.
No, I won't tell you I'm an arcade addict, you already guessed it !
I own about 10 ~  15 arcade games + some PCBs.
To be honest, I confess I prefer/spend more time repairing my games than playing !
I know it's crazy, but that's me...

Some of my games :

  • my beloved SEGA Quartet (a 4-players game)
restored back to Quartet, was converted to something else

  • SEGA Space Ship (vector game, clone of Cinematronics space War)
    fixed PCB + screen
AFAIK, my cabinet is the only one known ; I dumped the ROMs and updated Mame source code to add the game

  • VECTORBEAM Speed Freak
    fixed screen

  • ATARI HORROR GAMES Shark Jaws
    fixed screen + PCB

  • MIDWAY Wheels
    fixed screen + PCB

  • TAITO Missile-X (B&W, TTL)
    fixed PCB

  • ATARI Breakout
    fixed screen + PCB

  • ATARI Missile Command
fixed PCB (electronic designer was really a tortured psychopath)

  • an ELAUT ufo catcher
    fixed PCB

  • DATA EAST pinball
fixed missing columns & rows on VFD screen

  • ROCK-OLA jukebox
    fixed hardware: gripper + carousel

  • ...

I'm currently little busy, preparing my wedding (april).  ;D
I wish you a happy new year 2013 !

EDIT: forgot my Missile Command cabinet...
