Technical Area / Delay lines for Firefox NTSC demodulator board
« on: December 24, 2012, 04:35:58 PM »
Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of trying to repair three broken spare Firefox PCB boardsets I had here for years but never bothered to fix.
One of them is missing two particular components on the NTSC demodulator board: I'm talking about two delay lines. You can see them here in the pic below. Does anyone know where to find them?
Thanks in advance,

Matteo

'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / WTB: Firefox upright coin box
« on: October 14, 2012, 03:59:39 PM »
The coin box of my Firefox upright has been pretty much hacked/beaten up and I would like to replace it. If anyone has a spare one and is willing to sell it, please drop me a message. The dimensions of the Atari coin box are 32,3 x 22,8 x 23,8 cm approximately. It might be the same size and shape of other Atari coin boxes, so please check if you have some spares.
Thanks,

Matteo

Technical Area / Pioneer LD-V4300D audio board problem
« on: August 17, 2012, 12:57:53 PM »
Hello,
my Pioneer LD-V4300D laserdisc player developed a fault in the audio board.
The faulty component is a SMD IC made by Sony, a CXD2500Q. As soon as the player is powered up, this IC becomes VERY hot and draws a lot of current, causing the supply line to drop.
I know it's a long shot, but if anyone knows where to find a replacement part, please let me know. I'd take also a whole sound board for this player or a broken player good for parts only if you have it.
Thanks for reading,

Matteo

P.S.
Below a couple of pics that show the faulty IC and the LD-V4300D audio board.

I have an extra electric heated desolder pump that needs to find a new home. Works with 220 V AC. Useful to heat and quickly suck away the solder when removing components from PCBs.

I also have a bunch of NOS adhesive cable holders, that are useful to fix and arrange the loom/wiring inside the cabinets.

Pics and prices can be found here.

Thanks for looking.

I got one of these but I am finding myself with no time/motivation to assemble and test it. If anyone out there is looking for one and is willing to help Matt_O (Daphne emu team) with beta testing then I will gladly sell you mine.
I'm asking 235 € (euro) for this:

- Dexter board V.2.0 with some pre-soldered SMD components (paid about 105 € just for this one)
- all the rest of the components required to build it (another 70 € approx)
- Atmel AVR USB programmer (required to program the ATMega microcontroller), like new in box (about 25 €)
- EMS shipping outside Italy with tracking (about 35 €)

Send me a private message only if you're SERIOUSLY interested.
Thanks,

Matteo

P.S.
If you do not know what I'm writing about then read here, here and here.

Big screen euro version by Atari. Fully working with all original hardware. The monitor is a Pioneer 46" retroprojection TV.
Comes with TV remote control and a spare set of CRT RGB tubes for the TV. The Mad Dog disc is the italian dubbed version.
Machine is located in north of Italy, province of Pavia. Pick up in person only, no crating or palleting.
Sold as is, no warranty and no returns.

Size of TV cabinet: 113 x 90 x 200 cm
Size of gun holder cabinet: 84 x 59 x 89

The machine can be split in two parts for transportation. The two parts are connected by means of metal bars, that stay attached to the gun holder cabinet when the machine is split in two. These two bars are long about 135 cm out of the gun holder cabinet.

I had this T-Shirt custom made for myself and it came out great. I had it made size L but unfortunately it's too large for me. It's a US L size, so bigger than usual euro L size. So now I'm selling it unfortunately.
It's on eBay at the moment.
Thanks for looking,

Matteo

SOLD!

Artwork / Space Ace Sidam artwork (CPO and marquee)
« on: August 09, 2011, 12:02:30 PM »
I have a couple of suggestions for the vector queue... IF and WHEN Etienne has time to do it.
Reproduction for control panel and marquee artwork of Space Ace, italian Sidam version. Luckily a friend of mine (many thanks Igor!) found a NOS marquee artwork, so we scanned it. The CPO artwork is largely based on the same artwork. The control panel artwork was directly painted on the metal, so I don't know if it makes sense to vector it.
Here's how it is supposed to look like:

If interested I can upload the scans.
Thanks,

Matteo

Posting also here after Jamma+: the flyback in the Atari Matsushita 19" monitor of my Super Don Quix-ote (Interstellar conversion) decided to blow up last weekend. I'm trying to buy a replacement but it's not easy to find. The part is TLF6041F (HR equivalent is HR6454). Anyone has a spare one to sell me?
I know Bob Roberts carries them but I'd prefer not going into another overseas order at this time, especially since his payment methods are unfriendly.
Thanks,

Matteo
