Mappy, Frenzy, Galaga, War Gods, Multi-Williams and Galaxian are still available.  Games are being picked up on Thursday so if anyone is interested let Ully know now.

A shame the Mappy was already sold :(

Well the buyer of DK and Mappy just backed out of the deal so both of these are now available.  Please coordinate through Ully if interested.

VERY sweet, but my bezel looks much nicer! :P

Yes it does.  This Old Game is planning on running a repro of it at some point.

That turned out really nice.  Nice work!

Here's mine that I just finished.

(just missing a nice bezel)

All the rest / Re: Brand new hardware for my Atari 8 bit computers :)

I miss my Atari 800XL.  I had the Happy in my 1050 back in the mid 80's. Machine died on me and got thrown out a few years ago from my parents house.  Wish I still had it as I could probably have fixed it.  My favorite game was Blue Max.

Wow, that turned out nice. I've never seen a Gyruss with the side art in good shape.  Of course, if you want to make it authentic, you need to carve random initials into the side art.

This is looking nice.  I have a Gyruss to be repainted so this is good to follow.  I wonder if a light coat of primer before the yellow would have helped?

Thanks, now I only need some coin door parts to finish this restoration  ;)

How did that coin door turn out?

This is pretty interesting AND weird. Moon Patrol originally was an IREM game, so how does a Taito part end up in a Williams cab ?
Maybe the cabinets themselves came from the same production factory ?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.  It's odd that a Taito piece was used.

Excellent post detailing the sand/paint work.  I'm picking up a Frenzy this weekend that I may repaint as a Berzerk so that was very useful.

My vote is for stencils (I know...too late) but I don't have a problem with using the decals (other than the Namco logo).

And if you do restorations, there is nothing like the experience of removing a stencil and seeing what is left behind!

Do you have the option of painting outside?
