a combination of 100R/1k (original) or 100R/10k (see photo) is perfectly working. You neither need the capacitors nor the protection diodes...

Here's the full story in German language: http://www.wolfgangrobel.de/arcadereps6/caveman.htm

Hybrid RCDM-I107 reverse engineered

for example with Caveman Ninja, Data East created a PCB filled up with custom ICs and funny ceramic hybride circuits...
If you connect the JAMMA the wrong way, at least one RCDM_I107 gets fried by the 12V audio supply voltage.
If you are unlucky, your custom 104 gets killed, too. You can rename it to 404 - function not found... ;D

I was curious, what's inside a I107 and how it can be replaced.

Never knew that I'm a good guy... always tried to be the bad and the ugly...  ;D

Well - finally I succeeded: the fault was in the presettable vector coordinate counters...

Sorry, my webpages are completely written in German, but Google Translator may be your friend. And if you have any detailed questions, don't hesitate to ask me directly.

By the way, Enrico told me recently, it's O.K. for him to wait another two weeks, till you sold your drumset...  ;D

No Problem, Kick. Just send Enrico 50% of the difference and everything is fine...

'nuff said.

We have to deal with an adult named Enrico, who is very jalous that he never can make such deals.

I can see only one person with bad behaviour here, and it's not Enrico. Enrico made a lot of deals, but he would never tell anyone a story full of lies te get a bette price. You should feel ashamed. Get lost!

Thanks, I've seen it. I already knew Discrete Arcade, but the website is very outdated and not very "search friendly"...

For sure. Later. The clock signal ist more than stable at the moment. But that doesn't help me in any way...

Does anybody know this unknown discrete Arcade PCB?

It seems to be from Video Games Lich and might be some Pong Clone...

Any Hints are very welcome. Thanks.

Oh, sorry, that post gave me too much information for my simple mind...  ;D

At least I gave you a hint what to do with such a beauty...

that sounds O.K., 0xFF in sprite data is often displayed as transparent color... could be a reason that there were no sprites at all.
