1. Nintendo coin doors are the hardest part to find for a Nintendo cab. How much should I be willing to pay for one? (I know of two that I can get my hands on, but one is $150 and the other is almost $200)
I paid 165 including shipping, but i also paid 60 euro for the restoration of it. So you really need to search and have a bit of luck with those doors.

2. I found Jakobud's plans online, but got discouraged when I read that they aren't 100% accurate. What kind of problems could this pose for me? Is there a better source for the cabinet plans? (scr33n?)

Jakobud is "okay" big thing that is wrong with it is the wide of the cabinet. The shape is good with some alterations by looking at screens measurements. Big tip, buy EVERYTHING (like beezel, CP, Art retainers) before building your cabinet. This way you dont end up with things that dont fit(i have learned that the hard way)

3. What size is the monitor in the original DK cabinet? 19" and 20" seem to be the ones that pop up most.
The original DK cabinet monitor was a 19 inch.

5. 5/8" MDF for the cabinet body?

i used 150mm MDF, and the T-molding fits perfectly with it so its a good guess.

Sadly not  :( I have been way to busy with my internship so progress is really slow, but since summer is finally here for me im starting this back up!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv9P0Ir8c5I&feature=channel_video_title

I painted the inside of the cabinet black, finally installed the complete CP, got my ipac and added the side art. Somewhere in January i had my dad pick up my monitor from Gyruss (Long overdue Thank you) that he had in storage for me and its been safe and dry in my workshop ever since. Got a nice computer and finally installed Mame/Mala on it with a sweet frond end but i still need to wire my Ipac with the controls before i can play.

Since im here i have a question: for installing my monitor in my cabinet i need to add support beams to hold it.Im looking for the degree that these beams should have. By looking at pictures would say something roughly like 40° degrees, but im not sure...can anybody help me?

I went to see Tron yesterday with a couple of buddys. I really liked it. Its not the best movie ever, or even e great movie, but there's just something about it thats impressive. I love Daft Punk and it was awesome to see them in the movie!

Nuno ,maybe this a ridicules idea but it keeps popping into my head.

The total area of the new lair is going to be 140m2, and that HUGE! And you have a great collection of Arcade games, new and classic. It keep reminding me of Funspot. That is not only a Arcade hall but also a "museum"... What if you can turn your V3 into a true arcade museum?

I know it silly, but it kept bugging me...
