It's complete and working except for the vibration element in the seat and I replaced the monitor with an lcd but still have the non-functioning hantarex if you want. Also it's in an impossible spot in downtown Amsterdam but I have a great moving guy that can easily get it out through the window ;)

I got it from someones garage near the Dutch/German border, it was used in a German arcade and it still runs on old German coins(which are included ;D)

Hey everyone,

About a year ago I bought a Starblade cab (I think it's the US version) that I restored with a lot of love and effort.
Unfortunately I've moved and I no longer have space for it so I have to sell it.

I really like the machine so I want to make sure that someone buys who will take good care of it.

Please let me know if you're interested or want more info/pics :)

Best,

Joris

Thanks guys!

Any idea where I can find a monitor/TV that accepts 9 pin RGB?

I found that if I leave the machine running for about two hours the problems get less...(and the plot thickens)
Are you sure it's the Gonbes and not something in the machine itself?

Hi all,

Being an arcade lover all my life I decided to buy my first cab; an amazing 1991 namco Starblade.

Unfortunately after transport it has major graphics issues that I don't know how to fix  ???

Parts of the game work fine, but most parts give no or a distorted image. It seems like all 'video' like when you start the game, works perfect. But when the actual game begins it starts dropping the image.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? I will be forever greatfull to the person that can help me fix it. (And I'll buy you beer at eurocade  :pac: )

Here's a link to video I recorded while playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXh9jcvfmqg

Please note that I have installed a gonbes VGA converter and that in the video I'm just using a plain PC LCD monitor for the time being.

Best,

J
