Hi,

I'm looking to get hold of the last piece of the puzzle for my Sega Quartet, I need the following but the seller is not responding.

https://www.leboncoin.fr/jeux_jouets/948552186.htm?ca=7_s

Can any French speakers help in contacting the seller and maybe forwarding the part on if the seller refuses to ship outside France ?

Thanks,
Craig

Hi all.

There are here some gentlemen strongly interresting in buying this cabinet.
I said I can't setup the cabinet for shipping with carrier (palett, cardboard, straps, ...).
I understand it's not possible for these gentlemen to drive kilometers/miles. Moreover, the carrier option is much more economical and it's the best choice in this situation !
So, I decided to try and do my best to have it shipped !

With this new information, I want to be fair and honnest and respect messages order :
1. Ordyne on March 20, 2016, 01:16:28 PM
2. Alpha1 on March 20, 2016, 01:20:56 PM
3. Segasurvivor on March 20, 2016, 11:42:52 PM

So, based on the fact that the cabinet will be on a palett, protected and shipped using a carrier (at buyer's expense), could you please confirm/cancel your option ?

Wife said she could get a palett at her office.
I should be able to get strong Nylon straps by a friend.
Cardboard can be found on streets on Tuesdays in the big city closed to home, said wife.
So, there are no problem, only challenges !  ;)

I'll pass and let Alpha take it

Ok, sorry I am out then as I cannot trust a freight company to do it.

Good luck with the sale.

I have checked for earth continuity all the way back to the plug and it's fine. I checked various places on the frame and the chassis frame. I even unplugged the power cable and checked the earth pin on the chassis and had continuity back to the earth pin on the plug. I took the PC out of the Cab an connected it with a longer VGA cable. Then made sure everything inside the cab (i.e. Marquee Light) was disconnected so only the monitor was on in the cab. Turned the PC on and unfortunately the diagonal lines moving across the screen and speckles are still there. So I have ruled out interference from the PC or Marquee Light.

Re: the position using 15khz, there are pots on the east west board to set up each of the 3 resolutions, you should be able to adjust this out here.

Re: the interference, this isn't being powered from an isolation transformer is it? Also check near the power plug for a small screw which makes the connection to the chassis ground plane and the metal frame edging (not the crts frame work) of the monitors PCB, if this isn't super tight (or the psu cage is missing) you will get interference.

Hope this helps!
