I really like this custom build, though the T-mold may be a little over the top...

Very nice indeed.  :)

BTW, arcadecontrols was the very first forum I ever visited hobby related, centuries ago. I still visit it to keep updated regarding groovymame.

Nice build, yes.
Even the speaker holes looks like Zeldas triangle ^^.

Its impressive :) and I agree :  the T molding is a little bling bling.
But I nevertheless would not mind having it at home :)

:)  T-molding maybe a bit to much, but it does kind of represent the original cartridge's color on the NES.

Same for me (when I built my first mamecab)  :)

Yep, Mame all the way, back then.

This is me, still a young lad, building my first Mame PC, in the summer of 2003 (6 years after my first encounter with Mame).

Boy, that was a nice summer project, which resulted in this Mame cab:

I had great times with it for years, it even had a dedicated 4-way joystick mounted and I added a spinner s few years later. I still have it, although it hasn't been played for years and I removed most of the guts. It will end on marktplaats soon, I guess.  :'( :-*
