Sad day, but a great read. Thanks for sharing!
...the games are the games, but it’s the people who really count...
So true! :)

I saw the pics on Facebook. Thanks for this link

Me too.
Didn't know him but still sad. I really like how the guys handled it there.
I actually made some arrangements prior going to surgery a couple of years ago...someone here knows what to do if I drop dead tomorrow ;)
I really like that plaque they put on the machines, nice for the new owners, nice for Pete and his family...
I sometimes "signed" my machines.... :D

Sometimes I think could be a good idea to write a couple of lines. Just not to leave my relatives with tons troubles.

It's made quite a few people have a think, me included...as a hobby it's a lot of work, but for a family to sort out must be a nightmare.

You'll need to have your "lines" updated reguarly with new price estimates in order not to have your family "robbed" by someone who comes and get all your stuff for 100 EUR.
I remember this movie with Johnny Depp as an usncrupulous librarian who buys a rare Don Quixotte edition for a ridiculous price from a widow...

That is quite true, but in this case we raised a TON of money for the family members and all the cabs are being restored as far as I know and will be appreciated by the new owners, rather than going in a landfill or just falling apart on their own.
2 cabs actually did this on location :(
