Title: LOT OF 162 ARCADE MACHINES {SOLD}
Post by: bomberoza on March 01, 2016, 02:16:52 AM
Hi there friends,

just letting you know that in the Czech Republic is for sale a huge lot of arcade cabs - mostly projects for collectors. The games are remains of the Muzeum Arcade from Moravska Trebova, what is closed for a longer time. I know this family a little and they got divorced. Owner of the games is now a lady and she is looking for somebody who should buy this lot with an advert: http://www.sbazar.cz/sbirkaautomatu/detail/15629530-prodam-sbirku-162-hracich-automatu-pinbally-videohry (http://www.sbazar.cz/sbirkaautomatu/detail/15629530-prodam-sbirku-162-hracich-automatu-pinbally-videohry)

All pictures are there:
http://sbirkaautomatu.rajce.idnes.cz/Sbirka_automatu_na_prodej/ (http://sbirkaautomatu.rajce.idnes.cz/Sbirka_automatu_na_prodej/)

All cabinet info is there:
http://ulozto.cz/xkyfUNY2/arcade-en-xls (http://ulozto.cz/xkyfUNY2/arcade-en-xls)
- Click on ENG flag in the top right corner, Download, enter the code and Download

It's hard for me to see the state of the games - we are collectors, we have to do something. This lot is too big for me, maybe somebody else would be interested.

She will be waiting for a buyer for one month and if she don't sell this, she will start to sell separately. I have asked how can we help and she answered when somebody is interested in anything from this lot, let's send her a message to email sbirkaautomatu@seznam.cz with the financial offer for numbers of games you like to buy. And if she don't sell this at once, maybe your offer for some game should be the highest.

I believe that we should rescue some machines. Thanks for help and patience.

Seems like the current bid is 18500 eur for the whole lot.
There is a huge fanclub of pinballs and Em shooters in eastern europe, I think they will push the price extremly high on these.

This lot should be split in 3 categories,

Electromechanical
Pinball
Arcades

That would maximize profit for the lady while better satisfying potential buyers.

I was thinking the same...but then, look at all those newer machines. They seem to be in complete in working condition. This might ruin the deal for us retro collectors  :-\

I don´t think that 18.5 is the last word. Plus picking everything up, which will cost a fortune, too... wow...
Honestly... I did not see enough classic arcade stuff in good enough condition for me to take part in this. Maybe for the pinball-guys this is a better deal. I don´t know...

Even the pinballs do not have the boards.

If all the machines as complete and working the correct value should be 30000 €, but with the missing parts and the actual state the value of 18500 is correct, but its only for someone that have space to storage, and time and patient to restore all the machines.

If i have a friend crazy like me for arcades (And with money) i probably make the deal, but i can not make the deal alone, its too much effort for only one person.

Hi guys, I'm happy you are spreading this article around.

Cabinets must survive! More than 150 not-dedicated cabs has been destroyed there because of very bad state - broken wood from water, crushed parts, destroyed monitors, controls and so on.

Fresh news: The lady got some serious buyers who want to take all at once, luckily mostly of them from guys who are connected to this forum, and that's great. All of them are waiting for transport quotation now and then she will continue with her to negotiate about the price. Her expenses were high, the price 18500 is right.

If you are interested in concrete game numbers, feel free to mail her, but she thinks this is not an option: When she sells separately, she could make a better profit, but for sure she will lost this in rents of a storage, because there will be cabs that nobody is interested in.

When I get some more info, I will tell you. Take care, Jan.

Definiteley interested in the Boot Hill!! Can somebody tell from the picture, if the plastic landscape is inside? You Boot Hill-Owners, does your complete Boot Hill look like this when it's switched off or can the landscape be seen? And if you open tha back of your cab, can you see the landscape from the point of view in the 2nd picture? I wouldn't mind a missing pcb, this is a part that can be bought and shipped but the missing plastic is a deal killer  :-\

Title: Re: [FOR SALE] LOT OF 162 ARCADE MACHINES
Post by: Q*ris on March 02, 2016, 09:29:15 PM
Very hard to tell from that picture Luigi, because there's a mirror in front of the plastic landscape.
So you can't see it at all when the cab is switched off.
What you see in this picture is just the reflexion of the joystick in the mirror.
Anyway, I'll double check with mine tomorrow.

Everything Tyrem wrote +1 (sorry about the delay).
All you can tell from the pics is that it has the tinted mirror.

+ you can't really tell if the landscape is there even when the backdoor is opened because the backdoor is located at the bottom of the cab (see pic).
All you can tell from the rear view is if the plastic bubble is there or not. (that's like a shell protecting the plastic landscape).

The only way to tell without powering it is to take a picture very close to the window with the flash or while holding a flashlight towards the landscape.

PCBs missing
Backdoor missing (not the big problem)
inner artwork MIGHT be missing

He sold the vids and other cabs to an idiot, who wants to make an arcade museum in Budapest, but know nothing about arcade games.
I'm really curious, how does he want to find the missing pcbs and restore all the cabs without any knowledge.
I already tried to catch the Boot Hill to Luigi, but he does not want to sell anything.
I think his opininon will change in a few months/years, if there will be any news, I let you know.

If he does not know anything about it, you can count on this to happen..

Most of the cabs, at least the old woodys, are not good for such changes....I hope he knows that  :-\

They'll surface again I'm sure.  I can wait...in the meantime I made an upside down Space Ace for the current owner.   (http://i64.tinypic.com/2wlzwy8.jpg)
