Title: Exerion marquee-scan wanted....
Post by: synonym9 on May 18, 2015, 12:45:41 AM

Guys, I wonder if anybody got a scan of an Exerion-marquee.
In the worst case I also would buy an old marquee and scan/restore it myself.

Please, I want to finish my machine.....

Sir, I am really sorry....I did´nt get a notification  ???

I downloaded it and already restored it to realize my "Parallax Marquee".
Since Exerion was the first game with a Parallax-Background (for my knowledge) I had the idea to make a multi-layer marquee on my semi-dedicated EXERION-build.

I devided the art in 4 layers and created art where I cut the the marquee out so if you look from the side you would see no holes in the layers behind.

I gave all the halftones new and the purple glow now really is a glow that fades to transparent.

Together with my illumiated custom bezel/background/CPU-art (its actually an underlay) I think the machine will look awesome

All created from the genuine art.
The EXERION-bezel that are around are for the cocktails anyways in my opinion as it got an exact 3:4 cutout instead of a 4:3

Here is the marquee but with all layers merged together, so the single layers are not visible but I will make the prototype next week to see how it works.

The difference to the original marquee is almost invisible....
Thanks again to Etienne and Muddy....  :)
