I had (my brother more precisely) had a ZX81 when Dragon's Lair came out, back in 83'... It's funny because when I played Dragon's Lair at the arcade, I dreamed about playing a such game at home, but all we had at home was this ZX81 computer... and now, here's a ...ZX81 version!  ;D  :arrow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6-_48Aqso0&feature=youtu.be

It never fails to amaze me what people can trick out of ancient hardware :)

Gameplay wise it is not the best Dragon´s Lair version for sure, but still very impressive in my opinion.  ;D

Thanks, well but unfortunately I don´t show arcade cabs like you do it on yor channel, as I don´t have space for any arcade machines in my basement.  :)

Yep, I mean it would be possible to reduce the game characters and background to a few vectors, but that´s then not really the whole point of the original game any more.

jim has been awarded a Guinness world record for this feat, and is in the latest Guinness book of world records, gamers edition :D
