Yes please - what did you guys (outside of the UK) think about Space Invaders?
What licensed / unlicensed versions did you see back in the day?
We'd like more feedback from overseas listeners, please ;D

Cool! Right in time! I'm traveling tomorrow and listening the show will 'accelerate' the travel! ;)
Regarding Space Invaders, I've seen many bootegs. For example all of these are French made

I'm sure they are plenty of them...

Thanks DarthNuno. Odyssee 2000 is a completely new one to me, and they've even changed the cabinet art. I wonder if the game exactly the same?

I really like the Super Invaders!
Can I have it, please? ;D

... and I would kill for this ...'clone'...(but does it really exist)? :-*

The game certainly exists in MAME, but the cabinet art I've found does not feature Darth Vader :(

...and just finished to listen that old one in my car this morning. 8)
Great show, I didn't know about the Space Invaders hints, thanks ;D I hope I'll increase my score with them ;)
So you also had in UK the TAITO version of the game only? Not the Midway model?
Oh, and a important precision about the gam 'Grobda' mentioned at the end of the show (back in time).
It certainly has common points with the Atari's TANK game, but it's mainly a spin-off from Xevious, as the player's tank (which is the eponymous "Grobda") first appeared in that game as an enemy. Xevious rulez! ;D
