Hi Guys,
some weeks ago I've bought a dedicated dusty Zaccaria Super Galaxian Cabinet.
It was a fair price, the cabinet is in original shape, only the CP is missing. Of course it is not working.
Because of 3 spare CPs and the fair price I decided to take it with me. There is no space in my gameroom so I thought I will let it go soon.
here are some pics:

The Bezel is in a very good condition:

The PCB is complete with Soundboard

Even the Manual and shematics are there

then two weeks ago I pointed another CAB near Hamburg - it was a private sale for 75€, the seller has only one Picture of the cab, and the story that there is a donky kong in the cab and the Galaxia PCB is gone.
but the CP is there;-) This cab was only 100km from home, and a donkey kong PCB is always a good buy, so I bought the cab right away.
Today there was the time to fetch it up:
and so it looks like: (what a great idea, to glue an atari stick to the CP;-), but I hope to release it without damage:

"hooray" a forgotten Super Galaxian Sound PCB for Bela ;)

as you can see there are the Skeletons of PSUs in the CAB;-)

and there is the donkey kong ;D

Now I will make one cab out of this bunch of parts. The double parts will go to Bela, so his cab will be nearly complete soon.
If someone is interested in an empty cab, please let me know!
stay tuned

Wow, nice to see the whole story, these are 2 different cabs, but seems like exactly the same, still don't know what was the difference between Galaxia and Super Galaxian. :D
-
Galaxia and Super Galaxian is the same game:) only the marquee is different:)
-
Nice find! Great that it has a good CP and a sound PCB - they are hard to find. Also looks like some of the wiring is left - maybe Bela needs the main to sound wiring was well? I see the DK conversion has shoe horned an MTC-900 with a brick for it. Also a useful thing to have ;)

And i was thinking i saw it all...
how to replace a joystick ;D :D
-
The Joystick has left the cabinet ;D
It was not easy to clean all teh glue, but it works:

i guess they replaced the buttons ?
-
Yup, I guess they couldn't figure out the 3-pin dioded leafs :) I've found that that type of leaf is actually not common - Zac did fit 2-pin leafs on the none matrix input games making the 3-pin ones a bit harder to find.

To my luck i have enough original spare switches in my lair:)

Nice, I'm happy that they didn't drill out the cpo. :D
