I want to make a custom Crazy Kong cabaret with the Zaccaria Crazy Kong artwork. I think it's AWESOME!
Are the artwork files out there? Can someone send them to me? I need to resize them to fit whatever cabinet I end up getting. I am looking to do a 13" monitor cabinet with Crazy Kong.
I'm looking for this art:

I'm sure Etienne will jump in :)
He did the marquee and the CPO and he started the sidearts...
-
and maybe you will get a starsplash cab from Paul?
So you don't have to Import an empty shell to the US ;)
-
indeed, the CPO and marquee are done, Get them here:
http://vectorlib.free.fr/CrazyKong/ (http://vectorlib.free.fr/CrazyKong/)
read about it here:
CPO (https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=2271.0)
Marquee (https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=4070.0)
Funny that Luigi also did a CPO Vector, only at that time i did not know the guy, and he did not know me ;D
We both did the same thing :P
Anyway, the sideart i am working on (well, working is a big word, i have not worked on it for some time)
check here:

as for the bezel, have that scanned, but its fuzzy because of scanning through glass :-\
read about that here:
https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=1996.0 (https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=1996.0)
for the raw scans, i can create a login for my nas for you so you can take them from there, or i need your email so i can do a we transfer or something
i think we can figure things out ;)

Thanks, guys!
Etienne, I'll be looking you up when I am ready. I need to find a good cabinet for this.
What's the correct PCB for this game? I have two ORCA PCBs. Is that version ok?
-
I think you need the Falcon one (part 1 or 2)
-
Falcon board is what you are looking for
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crazy_Kong ;
Crazy Kong (クレイジーコング Kureijī Kongu?) is an arcade game created by Falcon, released in 1981 and is similar to Nintendo's Donkey Kong. Although commonly mistaken as a bootleg version, the game is officially licensed for non-US markets
I think Orca is the bootlegger here :D
although i have also a bootleg board that is 99% a copy of the falcon CK part 2 board which is not an Orca.
The standard board used in the zaccaria is Falcon Crazy Kong part 2
Part 1 (or simply Crazy Kong) is different in colors;

I have both falcon's here :P
Try this by the way in donkey kong:

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
There is a double Orca pcb in my CK originally. :P
-
So maybe the Full upright came with Orca and the mini came with Falcon ?
Orca is a bootleg from Falcon according to this site:
http://www.jammaplay.com/en/game/1528-crazy-kong-orca-bootleg
Bootleg version of Falcon's "Crazy Kong - Part II".
-
Who knows? :D
We have a nice collection of different CK boards, we can compare all the details one day. ;)
-
yeah,
I have 4 different PCBs;-) CP and Marquee;-) but no sideart.
when there is time I will an CK too;-)

Good to know! I'll keep my eyes peeled for a Falcon PCB. Gotta do this right! :D :spaceace: :spaceace:

I have;
1 double pcb Falcon CK "Part 1"
1 single Green PCB "FCK-00" Falcon CK "Part 2"
1 single Blue PCB "FCK-01" Falcon CK "Part 2"
1 Bootleg PCB with the CK "part 2" roms on them
The bootleg you can have for free (just pay the shipping), but i guess shipping will kill the fun :-\
the 3 Falcon boards i am planning to keep with the machine.
The Falcon "Part 1" board (generous donated to me by muerto)

The falcon part 2 boards; (the green one generous donated to me by Level42, and both fixed by RobinHolland)

The bootleg part 2 board;

there was a jamma adapter on that Bootleg board, which i have removed:

Did I give you a board ? Didn't even remember :P
Much earned that ! ;D
-
Yup, it was back in 2010, i have your lucky number 13 from the pile of PCB's ;D
https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=1898.0
Robin fixed it for me, for which i am still very thankfull ;)
-
I prefer this one myself ;D Mine came with an Orca 2-board PCB (and the wiring looks all original), but I built an adapter to JAMMA pinout, since I already had a JAMMA-Falcon adapter. That way I can use a real Falcon board in it, or other JAMMA boards. You can see the Orca-JAMMA adapter in the 2nd pic.
