This is an insane week for my collection. I was lucky to get a Gauntlet, then the cabs from C4 arrived... and today I got a Galaga 88.
If this alone would not be enough to make me happy Jochen and Chris are on a roadtrip at the moment. The will bring Blasteroids, Space Invaders, Qix and OutRun later tonight. Hmpf... they all have to go to the basement. This means pain for my body during the next few days.

there are 19 in my basement.
plus asteroids, r-type, galaga 88, gauntlet, tempest here next to me...
plus the cabs that are in the sprinter on its way to my store as we speak
qix, outrun, blastroids and space invaders
this makes 27 i guess.
there are some more in C5 for me.
donkey kong, missile command and gyruss.

man, you're stocking up faster than i can type. by the end of the year, you will have more games than i do, my storage unit will be empty, your basement crowded! love the gauntlet cab, but what's that ugly metal cage on the right side?
that galaga 88, is it the one that originally belonged to toralf, than changed hands with trinity and now ended up at your place?

ha, that made me laugh :D! you have guys doing the roadtrip for you and getting cabs from my place. i wonder who will be in pain over the next couple of days ... :P

we were lucky. it is not perfect but close to. there is nothing i would have to do. we can leave it like it is. the screen rocks. the usual burn ins on the right side are not there. :)

yepp. bk lux is 10 minutes from my place. and nope... besement has looots of space left. ;)
@bruno: yeah man.. let me fire up the tempest first. screen has issues... but nothing that can not be fixed.

I was wondering, my favourite game ever is Qix, I have collected a lot of info on it and love to see anything out of the ordinary. Your Qix cab is a real curiosity to me, I remember someone picking one of those up and showing pics on here. The cabs were made in the UK, but I don't remember seeing any looking like yours? What I'd love to see are plenty of photos of this - the bezel, CPO, the marquee and most of all inside the back of the machine! Do the instructions illuminate like a US made machine?
Is there any chance you could please send me some photos? I would really appreciate this! :)

Thank you so much for taking the time! Very interesting to see this, now I wonder if these were the style of Qix cabs I played back in the day? Does the instruction card light up? That's one thing I do remember. Fascinating cab for sure. I love how they mounted the game PCBs! Certainly not as serviceable as the USA version. Very cool cab you have there, you ought to post pics on the KLOV forums, I'd bet there'd be some folks on there who'd be interested to see this! Thanks again dude. 8)
