very nice game, we love it

SCI is a very good game, nice catch! The wheel is unique with all those "fire" buttons.
PS: are those two red lamps on the upper part of the sides lighting during the game? When you reach the criminal maybe?
-
nice machine ;D can you upload some clip?
-
Wow! that seems to be in really good condition! very nice catch!!!!1 :spaceace: :spaceace:

Nice find! I never knew a cockpit SCI even existed, I've seen the Chase HQ version but never this one.
-
Looking at the sidearts you can say that it's an electrocoin version. Not sure if taito released a dedicated cockpit cabinet for this.

I now that it's made in england and they where made voor centerparks in the Netherlands
that's what the seller told me

What's the story about electrocoin, i saw a site from them and i think they made new cabinets from existing games back in the days, am i right?
-
Not sure about their story, but for sure they made very good cabinets under Taito license, sometimes better than the original.
I have a WGP upright cabinet from electrocoin, and it's very unique looking and has a solid feeling
(it needs some resto actually, but you can get the idea)

First arcade cab I owned was a Double Axle by Electrocoin and it was much nicer than the US version. Much nicer artwork and cab shape (not so unnecessary bulky), it's about or maybe even exactly the same as that SCI upright on that flyer.
Very cool machine and my motto is that ANY racing or flying cab is 10 times more fun in a sit-down/cockpit version.
Oh and they still exist: http://www.electrocoin.net

Electrocoin made a lot of the more commonly seen dedicated - and many of the popular generic jamma cabinets - during the late 80's and 90's in the UK.
Many Taito driving games had their own cabinets which were different from the US versions and in many cases featured artwork from the Japanese versions, games such as SCI, Chase HQ, Super Chase and so on all had their own versions.
Dsyde who owns the jamma+ forum has the largest collection of Electrocoin cabinets, and has many of their dedicated machines such as Salamander, POW, Cosmic Guerilla and so on.
They are still in operation now but don't make any video games, I think the last cabinet they manufactured for a videogame was Chase HQ 2.

Thanks and i totally agree that an sitdown is much better than a upright cabinet
he looks beautifull but all the iron is rusty, in the summer i'm going to restore him

Would love to see it at RGE/Eurocade 2014 :)
