Hope it is ok that i open this topic.
I have 3 all time fav´s in my list
First: Dragon´s Lair, from the first moment i fall in love as i see it 1983, i was 12 years old, and yet now 30 years later i build my own DL machine :)
Second: The Ninjawarriors, i try to find one of the tree screen machines, but never i found one. for me the music from level one is one of the best what i ever hear in a arcade machine from this time. Unbelievable what TAITO makes 1987 with the sound-chips.
Last: Donkey Kong, i can´t remember how much coins i drop in, a long time i put in all my pocket money in this nintendo monster :)
And what´s your all time favorite machine?
(edit)
Damn, i see i post in the wrong category :( maybe a admin can shift this topic.... sorry for that

For me there are four games:
Donkey Kong (my first game I 'lost' many coins to)
Galaga (First game I mastered very well)
Gyruss (The music and gameplay is awesome)
Virtua Fighter (First game that blew me away - 3D fighting game was fantastic game play)
Edit:
Gorf should be in the list too (just the speech was worth playing the game - nanana you are promoted to a space captain). Hilarious
-
Galaga (First game I mastered very well)
With all respect........ everyone masters Galaga very well...... ;D
-
Asteroids
Space Invaders
Kung-Fu Master
Q*bert or Pac-Man (anyway a yellow cab)
Shinobi
Qix
But if I really had to go to a desert Island (a desert island that has electricity of course), I'd take only the Asteroids (or maybe 2 because it's always safer to have some spare parts).

Greetings to all. I am new to the forum. Thanks Darth for your help with the registration.
Donkey Kong
Pac-Man
Joust
Black Tiger
I especially like Scr33n scratch build projects, the one the blew me away was the red Donkey Kong cab considering DK was the first game I've played back in 1981 in Canada. Most of the work in here is AMAZING and Hat's off to all you guys.
-
For the cabinet look and the game :
1- Discs Of Tron (both upright and envirnomental), must say this is the best cab of all time. What a classy look.
2- Sit-down Out Run cab.
3- Karate Champ VS (mostly for the game - I was addict, dreaming of it and all -, the cab wan't that great)

Thanks Darth for your warm welcome. I am slowly working on my very own DK upright blue cab scratch build and a Pac Man cab as well. Considering it is hard to come across an original cab and pretty expensive to ship one in. I have managed to get my hands on a midway coin door, and an original nintendo coin door from the States, the only problem was that the midway was without the frame. So I used a circuit board door frame (similar to the ones we have in the house). I have restored both doors, not perfectly but am very satisfied with my result. It's a slow forth project that I do want to complete but because of the crisis right now jobs have become scarce. When we get into the swing of the things once again It is the first thing on my priority list. Bezel, Marquee, control panel and all the art work have been done from cutting the polycarbon plexi by hand to printing on a simply ink jet printer.
Thanks again for welcoming me.
