Title: Exerion
Post by: AusWoody on February 04, 2012, 09:45:38 AM
Exerion is one of my favorite games and I have a PCB and NOS side art which I would like to put it in a cab. The Marque is easy to find but the CPO is very difficult to find and I don't even know if there was a bezel?

Does anyone have a scan of any of the artwork that they could share?

Muerto, I am sure you are right, there was no dedicated cab, but there was a conversion kit. The CP you linked to at the bottom (Yellow and Black) is the correct CPO included in the kit.

There was (That I know of) a Marquee, CPO and sideart. Not sure if there was a bezel. I am thinking not.

Please don't overload the vector-master ! He's busy cutting right now  ;D ;D ;D ;D

That looks like a nightmare to vector by the way. I never heard of this game before by the way....

Hahahahahaa!!!!

This item is no longer available
Possible reason: this item may have been sold

Joke aside...
Talked to Archer regarding vector stuff like this, and in this case vector is not accurate enough...

Yes, I have asked the Klov guys, I thought I was on to one, but it fell through :(  Not having much luck there.

I knew of the one at quaterarcade (after it was sold  :'() and have spoken with the owner Anthony to see if he had another,o high res photo and no luck. He says he sold that one to a collector in Spain.

If you have never tried this game, load it up in mame, have a try. It's lots of fun. Very basic, but fun.

Hey gang, I plan to build a classic taito cab soon to house this exerion :) as I have found the CPO and have a bezel source waiting on some info.

I want to be as accurate as possible and need to know the size of a the bezel artwork, say for elevator action, or any that are the same size

I need the overall width and height, the width of each side of the monitor, the height of the art above and below the monitor, and the actual size of the void to double check i get it right ;)

Thanks in advance

As for the side art, I have that. I bought NOS and have had it scanned :)  Happy to share but it is 100Mb size file.  Any ideas?

the size of the bezel cutout looks so much different from the other taito cabs, are you sure the measures from say a jungle king will help you?

Ully, the plan is to manipulate the exerion bezel to suit the Taito bezels.  If done correctly it should look beautiful :) Just need those measurements.

AusWoody,

I followed some of your threads and wanted to join since I am a Exerion-Fan to AND....I got a Hand on a PCB!

How I say I wanted to join earlier but some forums are a pain in the ass to join.

First of all, i also want to build an dedicated cabinet for our beloved Exerion, how far are you by now, or are you done?

I am a Solidworks-Engineer, so I can help you to design a cabinet, the data can than importet in any CNControlled device.

I can render the cabinet to look totally real plus I can apply the artwork on it.

I added some renderings I have done, hope I can help you.

Contact me here or by bow-tie@gmx.at  :)

Woody, it was you who sent me all the artwork for Exerion.
I have everything but the marquee.

Is the marquee already scanned? If not I would buy one (I got an offer for one) and would scan it.

AusWoody, it was also Etienne who supported us with the marquee.
I did get it from MuddyMusic over on KLOV but we want to say thanks to both, Etienne and Muddy.

I send you the multi-layer-marquee tomorrow, it is just way to big to send it via mail.
