I know many find it crap, and most probably it is, but I have a concerete ceiling in the basement, so would like to contrast on the floor with something more eyecatching, lets say a black light carpet if possible.
The thing is I'm finding it impossible to find someone who sells these, in a 200km radius. All I have so far is this company, http://www.stiers.de/frame_lt.html.
But only selling from 50m2 onwards, and overkill prices. I only need around 18-19m2.
Anyone has a clue were to find affordable nice carpet?

as far as i know, blacklight carpet IS very expensive, so i guess there's nothing you can do about it. however, blacklight carpet in a gameroom is definitely a killer, so imho totally worth the money and the effort!

I found alternatives that do not use black light, but it could look nice. Custom printed carpet, around 30€ / m2 , choice of practically any colour(s). Minimum 20m2 order, which is fine for most people.
The thing is you need to prove you own the rights to whatever you are having printed. So what I'm wondering is what happens if you want to, let's say, have lots of aliens on the carpet, Space Invaders type. I mean it has fallen so much into the iconic-cultural public domain these last years... But a copyright is a copyright, so I might just ask them.

Never ask. just hand in th graphics, if there's a problem they will let you know....

At the moment we have a test setup put in the floor. If it holds well, the whole floor will be treated. The stuff is a little fragile, and the floor is an entrance of an office building....

Excellent, thanks!!! At last a carpet provider. You know what is best? My gameroom is exactly 3,66m wide, like the rolls they are selling. :-)
Nice Tron like tiles. Looks exactly like my floor now, except with blue lights, which I admit it was makes it look sexy.
