Yeah that's a good one and true, everything is more expensive over there....

Prices of cabs are indeed way off compared to mainland Europe but I think the demand here is simply lower.

Finally, iīm back with another cab cockpit.... and itīs a beauty!
I must say, itīs a nightmare to make a descent roadtrip in pictures, simply because thereīs nothing to take pictures of!!!  >:( - nothing funny at least... but here it goes:

A bit longer than last time, but it was nice weather, and that helped  :)

Left early this morning, to avoid traffic, and it worked  :D
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 002.jpg)

And at that time equals empty motor ways!!!!!
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 003.jpg)

As theres no wind mills what so ever in the mainland, hereīs a radio tower instead:
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 020.jpg)

Nice bridge.....
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 025.jpg)

A nice vintage car.
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 031.jpg)

A flock of sheep's...
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 034.jpg)

 ;D ;D ;D ;D Empty higways  ;D ;D ;D ;D
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 039.jpg)

And then, the first hint of what i won.......
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 042.jpg)

(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 043.jpg)

Finally, after 2t 30m, my exit...
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 047.jpg)

Arrived at the sellers place, and had a look of some of his other arcade machines.... - this one he just sold to a member on JAMMA+ sweet looking!!!!!
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 048.jpg)

(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 049.jpg)

Well, disassembled the cockpit, and put it in the car....
Luckily you was able to take it apart (3 pieces) "upright it wont fit in the car, so the monitor bit is placed on itīs "head"  ;D what you can see here is the back end of the cockpit...
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 054.jpg)

And then......... Martin shoved me some more cabs, and i ended up buying another one, but i had to leave it at his place, because there wasenīt anymore room in the car..... - love this cab style!
A SEGA/Gremlin Invinco dual Head on 2  :-*

Picture taken through the bend piece of plexy.
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 079.jpg)

And from the rear.
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 080.jpg)

The coin counter speaks for it self!!!!!  :o :o :o :o
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 081.jpg)

Serial plate:
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 092.jpg)

and under that, a little nice thing.... wow, who have guessed when this was assembled in 81ī in Japan (where i was 6 years old) it would end up in my hands 30 years later....
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 093.jpg)

Final image of the 2 cabs side by side in the warehouse..

Thanks to Martin, enjoyed speaking to you, and see you soon!

So, i see if i can somehow sum this up Ully style.... here goes...  ;D
One island - 292,9 Miles driven (468,6KM) 5 Hours on the road...

The game play is quite basic, you see the racetrack from above, and then you try to avoid traffic.... though, thereīs an error on the pcb, that results in double sprite image, martin said what was causing this, but canīt remember now....

your last comment = ROFL!!!!

If I had the money AND the space I would have totally taken this game. Glad it went to someone that will look after it.

You switch between the games on a contact on the CP, itīs to the left of the P1 and P2 start...

Wow, this cockpit looks really nice, congratulation  8)
I've never seen a SEGA/Gremlin Invinco dual Head on 2 ... interesting.
What? A UK road trip without Dr Pepper ? without Burger King ? without 'Mind the gap', M20 pictures or even scary "I drive on the left side of the road" pictures ::) :P ;)
ah yes... cheater! You're now in UK  ;)

Thanks Gyruss! The CP is a different story but I'm sure it can be fixed.
Otherwise, it's a really nice looking cab indeed, I just couldn't leave it to rot in that barn.
