MMMMMmmm, bit of economics: higher demand = higher prices......

MMMMMmmm, bit of economics: higher demand = higher prices......
bit of geography: secluded island = higher prices ... :P
-
Yeah that's a good one and true, everything is more expensive over there....
Prices of cabs are indeed way off compared to mainland Europe but I think the demand here is simply lower.
-
Finally, i´m back with another
cab cockpit.... and it´s a beauty!
I must say, it´s a nightmare to make a descent roadtrip in pictures, simply because there´s nothing to take pictures of!!! >:( - nothing funny at least... but here it goes:
A bit longer than last time, but it was nice weather, and that helped :)
Left early this morning, to avoid traffic, and it worked :D
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 002.jpg)
And at that time equals empty motor ways!!!!!
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 003.jpg)
As theres no wind mills what so ever in the mainland, here´s a radio tower instead:
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 020.jpg)
Nice bridge.....
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 025.jpg)
A nice vintage car.
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 031.jpg)
A flock of sheep's...

;D ;D ;D ;D Empty higways ;D ;D ;D ;D
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 039.jpg)

(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 043.jpg)
Finally, after 2t 30m, my exit...
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 047.jpg)
Arrived at the sellers place, and had a look of some of his other arcade machines.... - this one he just sold to a member on JAMMA+ sweet looking!!!!!
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 048.jpg)

Well, disassembled the cockpit, and put it in the car....
Luckily you was able to take it apart (3 pieces) "upright it wont fit in the car, so the monitor bit is placed on it´s "head" ;D what you can see here is the back end of the cockpit...
(http://www.opdenkelder.com/muerto/arc/gt/bs 054.jpg)
And then......... Martin shoved me some more cabs, and i ended up buying another one, but i had to leave it at his place, because there wasen´t anymore room in the car..... - love this cab style!

The game play is quite basic, you see the racetrack from above, and then you try to avoid traffic.... though, there´s an error on the pcb, that results in double sprite image, martin said what was causing this, but can´t remember now....
your last comment = ROFL!!!!
-
Nice cab Michael !
-
Beautiful beast, somehow it reminds me for a Monaco GP cockpit! ;D
Thanks for sharing your "boring" roadtrip with us. ;)
-
Sweet.. Now bring your collection back to Denmark! :)
-
Very cool!!
-
i forgot to mention that the last three images aren't working for me ... anyone have the same problem?
btw, nice catch as well with that double cab, never seen one in action. how do you switch between games?
-
If I had the money AND the space I would have totally taken this game. Glad it went to someone that will look after it.

You switch between the games on a contact on the CP, it´s to the left of the P1 and P2 start...

Wow, this cockpit looks really nice, congratulation 8)
I've never seen a SEGA/Gremlin Invinco dual Head on 2 ... interesting.
What? A UK road trip without Dr Pepper ? without Burger King ? without 'Mind the gap', M20 pictures or even scary "I drive on the left side of the road" pictures ::) :P ;)
ah yes... cheater! You're now in UK ;)

So fresh, and so clean, love it!

Thanks Gyruss! The CP is a different story but I'm sure it can be fixed.
Otherwise, it's a really nice looking cab indeed, I just couldn't leave it to rot in that barn.

Its awesome!!
