Title: Shipping Cabinets on a pallet
Post by: gyruss on January 10, 2011, 02:52:43 PM
As a don't have access to a cheap van I'm wondering what you experiences are with shipping a cab on a pallet.
Which company's do you guys use? How expensive was it? Any damage to the cabs?

I've shipped many on a pallet.

1. Ensure the game is heavily cardboard wrapped
2. Shrink wrap the cardboard.
3. Put more cardboard on the corners of the cabinet
4. shrink wrap again
5. Ensure the machine is strapped to the pallet so it cannot fall off.

Thanks, the owner of my new cabinet decided to deliver it at my home. So no more need for shipping (atm).

That's probably because he doesn't know where you live yet ;)

Not that there's anything wrong with it, but it's UNFINDABLE ;D

I was glad I saw a Belgian license plated van with a load of monitor boxes inside when I drove up to your home last saturday ;) ;) ;) I still had to search a bit to find it :P

Yes, it's terrible, i was one the phone with Chris to give him directions when you saw him.

Maybe next time i'll include google maps directions, although that wouldn't help much!  ;)

Anyway, i'm really looking forward to getting the cab at my home and annoying you with lot's of technical (noob) questions.  ;D
