I've found a 1992 promotional video of a Namco Wonder Eggs theme park in Japan.
There are 3 scenes where you can see the Galaxian³ , model GH-28 (28 players!!! see this post (https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=399.0)). :arrow:

Now, because I do not understand Japanese, I'm more sure what is the localization of this specific theme park (there were several Namco Wonder Eggs theme parks over Japan) : Osaka? Tokyo?
So It's maybe not the GH-28 model on the video? It may even be the GM-16 ?
I hope our Japanese friends here may help us to identify the place and the model ? :-*

It's GH-28. There were GH-28 and GT-6 at Wonder Eggs, but there has not been GM-16.
And Wonder Eggs was only at Futakotamagawa.
We could play this GH-28 first at "The International Garden and Greenery Exposition,Osaka,Japan,1990" (Tsurumi-ku, Osaka, Japan : Apr 1,1990 - Sep 30,1990)
And it improved and moved to "Namco Wonder Eggs" (Futakotamagawa, Tokyo, Japan : Feb 29,1992 - Dec 31,2000)

All of them were at the same place, Futakotamagawa, Tokyo, Japan.
They have renewed it twice, the name has changed along with it.
WE : Feb 29 ,1992 - Jul 6 or 7? 1996
WE2 : Jul 20, 1996 - Mar 31, 1999
WE3 : Apr 3, 1999 - Dec 31, 2000

I found an *extend version* of the Namco's Wonder Eggs theme park promotional video.
It includes 30 seconds of Galaxian³ (GH-28 model) new footage ... hurray ;D :arrow:

The site is entirely in Japanese (in which I got a headache from reading some of it... :ghost:) but it provides a few links to some images and videos (which I have not checked out).

Thanks to Google Earth, I located a satellite image of the Wonder Eggs Theme Park:

This shot was taken in 1997.
By the year 2000, the theme park was closed down and apparently demolished. There would be nothing but a patch of empty land for the next 7 years (eventually turns into a parking lot in 2007).
By the year 2010, construction begins on the former Wonder Eggs Theme Park site. What used to the the magical Wonder Eggs 3 is now either a work complex or apartments (can't tell from photos maybe apartments...).

This photo was taken back in 2012. Well, its too bad for such a good theme park to go, t least they made used of the land for something nice other than a parking lot. ::)

Yes but can only go as far back as 1997 unless they happen to gather older photos in different locations.

I guess it depends on your connection speed. I had patience with analog modem back then.

I wanted to say that, but seemed not able to understand.
It is not a topic done in this topic, but the rebuttal briefly.
Please understand the situation at the time.
1. Time that can be connected in a flat-rate fee was limited. (11PM-8AM)
2. Since most people were using analog modems 56kbps following (graphical) heavy website has not been recommended. example:Yahoo! Japan at the time (http://web.archive.org/web/20010106195500/http://www.yahoo.co.jp/) I was took about 8 hours to download the data of one floppy disk at the time.
3. Can not be read time it takes to download though it is just a diary It is putting the cart before the horse. So writer is writing a link to a file in images and videos all the way in the link destination DarthNuno is presented.

As for images, they didn't take long to download but videos would take a hour or so.
It must be good to have internet that is faster than 56k now would you think?
Although a text dairy can send as much information to the user unlike video and images in the way we use internet today.

There must be a misunderstanding. I am not being selfish in any way.
I understand what you stated are facts. I am not regarding them as a opinion.
I only described the time when I had internet before it got better. I am not being selfish or offensive in any way.

It's a shame to see it shut down along with galaxian 3. There could be a possibility for the attraction and the 6-player theatre version to come back.

Hope in the future that namco would release the wonder eggs trilogy for ps3. Btw 3 namco spaces are still in japanese ps home. I found out on my japanese account.

I still fear it may be unlikely since people are playing games in their home rather than going out to the arcades to play. I thought of releasing game on DLC can help bring it back to spotlight or to be reintroduced to a new audience.
