Correct game, but it's NOT that cab :) It's the Rockola version which is even more rare !
And indeed, I love the vectors, and it's insane to find a game like that here, but I won't be keeping it.
I wasn't too impressed by the gameplay (But I could be wrong of course....)

This one will go to my good friend Andreas in Germany. He is a HUGE vector fan and he's helped me out with some board repairs and other stuff, so I figured that:
A) IF it's broken (unknown, it IS complete) he is able to fix it
B) He will take very good care of it
C) Next time I visit beautiful Bavaria I may be able to play it.

OK, I'm pretty tired of all the dragging around, pretty long time on the road, more dragging around. But it was SO worth it.
Story: I get a tip from someone that there is an operator in Belgium that has a big warehouse full of old arcade equipment. It's mainly bingo's and pinballs but there's videos to and some sound really interesting. I give the guy a call and we make an appointment.
So today one week ago, I drive off to his place. I'm pretty excited because I've seen some pics and this thing is what the US guys call a WAREHOUSE RAID !!!! I never dreamt I would find something like that around here, but here it was.... a warehouse full of old arcade stuff......
So I start walking around, talking with the owner (who's doing mainly Photoplay's now (sad...but that's how it is) and I see all the stuff. There's loads of generic videogames. There are also a good range of the famous Taito cab with various games in them. But most important, there is a good number of classics !!!! Some are _real_ classics...
We talk some more, the next days I e-mail people, phone people, and we agree on a deal.
I had to arrange extra storage place because my gameroom is full. I also had to arrange transport, and for petrol costs, my friend Ruud is willing to help out. Some of you may recognize him, he's the guy that built my gameroom ! :D
Anyway, this morning we drove early southbound.....I'm afraid the roadtrip itself was very boring, but ......well see for yourself:

Armor Attack, one of Cinematronics classics vector games !!!! This however, is the even much more rare (licensed) Rockola version !!!!!
This game is special because it's technology is so different. Instead of using a real processor, the designer thought it was cheaper to design his own processor from TTL IC's. So, there's no 6502, no Z80 or whatever on that PCB ! (Makes repair hard !).
Also, the monitor is very dedicated ! It accepts digital signals instead of the analog signals that are used on vector games like from Atari etc.

Berzerk is awsome!, the speach is awsome! "Quarters detected in pockets"
The speech was done using LPC coding, which cost $1,000 per word to compress at that time.

The Armor Attack. In a perfect world, I would be a millionaire and store this one in my 2000 m2 arcade/gameroom but alas, I simply have no space for it. Also, this is a very special beast and very hard to fix without the right knowledge AND tools. This cab will be going to Speleo (= Andreas from www.andysarcade.com). I know he's a PCB and especially vector wizard. He's done Cinematronics repairs before and has the right tools.
Also, he loves the vectors so I really wanted Andreas to have it.
I really like the cab ! It's complete, not working but in pretty nice condition. The CPO is damaged. Looks pretty easy to vector this one and repro it though !
The inside is totally complete and all parts look really good although of course some dirt, dust and the obvious old Belgian Franc coins....

Very nice catch indeed, 8 cabs in one go! :o And those Berzerks are in great shape indeed. But also some of the Centipedes seem to have well-aged. Never seen a Centipede in real, nor a Berzerk of course. Well you never know, perhaps one day ....

you already have my email regarding my berzerk wish, so if there is still one available i'd happily buy one from you. the vectrex game is a lot of fun, but an original dedicated berzerk - HOLY SMOKE!!! bezels and / or joysticks should pop up from time to time ...

Very impressive find. It's like part of my past is there.
Used to play Atari Pinball and Atari Basketball a lot as a kid. I can still hear that harlem globetrotters tune and feel the feedback from the pinball. Damn.
Remember the vega cab from back in the day too but didn't play it much.
What's funny is that Ric-O-Chet has a €0,50 sticker on the coin door, meaning it's been in operation post 2000. Wonder where…
Used to own a Berzerk and a Zaccaria Phoenix (Regret getting rid of the Berzerk now but didn't have a choice at the time, and it's one big ass cab).

have i said I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E yet ;) ? there are still some great games in there that i'd like to have - remember andré that i didn't get the breakout on the dutch marktplaats? and that atari basketball, another nice trakball game. super bug is fun to have too - played it at a friend's place not so long ago.
but of course nothing beats berzerk!!!

Got one Berzek :o ...two? ...THREE! :o :-* Fantastic! This one is in my 'must have list if I can find some free space' ... but I presume these three cabinets are already 'on hold' ::) :P
...and what about the FOUR centipede :-* It's great to see a such rescue!
As you mentioned it, there are still great games to save over there 8)
- Four Atari's SUPER BUG in a row :o I got mine in UK... and there are FOUR of them in Belgium :P
- I used to play the Atari's BasketBall :-* A nice and very playable game...and a great addition to a vintage collection :)
- The PUCKMAN cab is also a nice 'curiosity' cabinet ;)
- Sit-down Power Drift, even if I'm not a fan of the game, I recognize that 'sit down' version is very rare!
- WOW :-* Ric-O-Chet :-* :-* :-* The PONG version by Allied Leisure :P

It was probably "once in a lifetime", but who knows !
I really consider the Berzerk threesome find as the most incredible behind finding my SW cockpit.
Anyway, the first Centipede is already at it's new owner: Ckong has picked it up today. I first checked the powers from the Power Brick and the AR-II and they were OK. So we tried all three of the Centi PCB's. Two kind of worked, but have letters on the lower side of the screen. One of those boards doesn't have sound, but I am 99% certain that that is the LM324 (was defective on my Centi too and is a common problem).
The third board only showed some centi parts flickering...
The monitor also worked very good indeed, the G07's are simply amazing.
I'll investigate the 2nd Centi tonight and hope to deliver it tomorrow evening.
Now, about the Berzerks. As mentioned, I of course want to keep one. I've had mails, PMs and even a phone call of number of people interested in the other two machines.
All your interest is noted, but I really need to investigate the machines first. One of the three is supposedly working, but I haven't even had the chance to check that. I also want to see if there's any battery damage and get an idea what the issues with the other cabs are. Please give met until Friday to work this all out.
Then I will put up the information here so we all know what we're talking about. Hope that's OK with you guys :)

I've been swamped by responses, and I will answer all, but please give me some time.
The second Centipede has found it's home in the heart of Holland. I had to work very close to RonaldReagan's place so this morning (in the pouring rain) I loaded up the Centi, and delivered it after work.
I had replaced one of the RAMs on the PCB but it still gave an error at M7 (7 beeps), although we now still only had a quarter of the screen filled with letters, instead of the entire bottom half.....
Guess it will be fixed soon enough :)

that one space invaders seemed to have been in nice condition. i wonder why the person who picked it up didn't get the berzerks or the armor attacks - those are games you simply can't leave behind ...

The Amor Attack is rare for sure, but you also have to actually know what it is. Everybody knows Asteroids and Space Invaders.
Plus, apart from being a vector game, it's a Cinematronics vector game and the electronics on those are not for your "average Joe" to repair....
Seeing the pics there were at least 2 maybe 3 SI's and indeed they looked pretty good ( a LOT better than mine).
When I went over, the machines I really wanted were the Asteroids Deluxe, Berzerk and maybe the Asteroids. Regretfully the Asteroidses were gone, but you don't hear me complaining at all.... :D

I think I know this place. Isn't this in Antwerp? About three years ago I visited this place (or it is a very similar place anyway).
Didn't they have a attic too with very old stuff? (mostly pinballs and tabletops)

It's not in or near Antwerp. And there isn't an attic and there were 0 table tops (or cocktails).
Puckman bezel: That is the correct one for my version of that cabinet (the full upright), but it looks like it won't fit the one at the warehouse. Look at the wide band of artwork above the glass opening for the monitor and compare to the current one...

Indeed, the top part of the bezel should be thinner than the one I've seen upper :oops: (very nice artwork however!).

Tha Zac's look like Vanguards & Super Cobras, with one Vanguard looking still original. It sort of looks like one may have a Frogger control panel but it's hard to tell.

So, yesterday we had a "meeting" at the warehouse.
Since Ully and Muerto were picking up their Berzerks anyway, we figured it was nice to go there. JCP expressed to be very interested in the sit-down Power Drift, and Ckong and Arcadecollection (who are both also from Holland) wanted to go and visit too.
Regretfully ArcadeCollection had to work as he really wanted to go there too.
So, there was a "second raid" going on. All the pinballs had been sold between the moment I picked up the Berzerks and Centi's and yesterday....... :(
However there was still plenty of nice stuff.
Ckong ended up picking up a _VERY_ nice looking Zaccaria Vanguard plus some nice high-res (VGA) monitors.
Ully picked up his long searched Breakout in _VERY_VERY_ nice condition. He had to shift around quite a number of cabs (incl. Breakouts and Super Breakouts) to pick out the nicest looking one, but it sure was worth it :)
This is now temporarily stored at my place since he could only fit the Berzerk in his car (which was an impressive thing by itself, Berzerk is HUGE).
Muerto picked up a very nice looking Super Breakout cab for a friend in Denmark. And of course his Berzerk was loaded up. Both actually fitted on top of each other on the sides in his van.
Regretfully, the Power Drift was not up to JCP's expectations and he didn't buy it, even though the seller did a very nice last offer IMHO.
Thanks for the Sega button JCP, will look much nicer than the burnt one that is on my PD upright now.
While shifting cabs we did some very nice discoveries. I knew I had seen one Atari cab (stickers on the back) from the US (so pre-Ireland factory) but I didn't recognize the shape. We shifted cabs a bit, saw some artwork that only showed some purple looking rocks, and we all were puzzled by it. So more shifting and turned it around and it turned out to be an Atari Avalanche !!!!
Very rare indeed I guess. B/W game. Cab looked in pretty nice shape. I remembered reading about this game that the gameplay is much like Activision's Kaboom ! for the Atari 2600.
We also noticed a Galaxia, a Bertolini licensed version of Galaxian (at least, the CP mentioned NAMCO). I found this a bit weird. The thing is that Bertolini also built the Galaxian cabs that look almost identical to Namco's original Galaxian.....
This one had completely different artwork, different cab shape etc.
I didn't bring my camera but Ully and Muerto did, so expect pics from them soon !
It was great meeting all of you (again) and I really enjoyed the trip. I'm also glad that most of you guys picked up something nice !
Today, the last Centi will be picked up by ArcadeCollection at my place. Then all the cabs of the original pick-up are gone ! Very happy about that, but also a bit sad that the 3 Berzerks were together for the last time yesterday (there's a nice "farewell" picture made) and that I had to disappoint some people who were also interested.
Still, there's more stuff left. Taito, Zaccaria cabs etc.

It's very much like Kaboom! by Activision. In fact, they "stole" the idea from Avalanche for Kaboom !

Within collecting there are many different factions, interests, regional and even national groups and there are many different sites for those arcade enthusiasts. My general impression is that the real arcade collecting fanatics hang out at Dragon’s Lair Fans, and late October one of the more hardcore collectors (Level42) came across an operator with a warehouse that was like a step back in time.
