Great cab for a multigame !
This is THE cabinet to mame IMHO
Love it !
-
Cool!
It's the second time I see one.
It's quite small if I remember correctly.
Love it :)

It's quite small if I remember correctly.
164 x 75 x 60 cm , according to the seller's description.
-
Yes ive seen one before too, are you going for it ?
Love it !
-
No, I am not. About 8 hours away, and I do not have the time for roadtrips atm ... otherwise, I probably would :)
-
Cant find the ad....got a link ?
-
Sure - PM!
-
Thanks ! If you're not going for it I might :)
-
Do it ! thats a much cooler cabinet to have in your gameroom as a mame cab than the one you now have.
Take the guts from the current one and fix that baby up ! ;D
-
Totally agree Etienne !
And it's much smaller and lighter !!!!!
-
Looks very cool !

Since I posted this, the seller gave me a call, and it seems I was able to work something out with him that spares me from picking that thing up in person.
So I _may_ be the new owner (I've stopped taking things for granted before the cab enters my basement).
I've discussed this via PM with André when I sent hin the Ebay link, so I hope there's no bad blood.
-
Hah, no way Martin you spotted it first , go for it ! :)
-
I am sorry to jump into the thread like this, but do you know if this cabinet has been sold? I can't find it on eBay.de.
It is on my top 5 grail list of cabinets, and I would really love to own it!
It looks like it's in great condition too. This is only the second time I've seen this cabinet in any pictures, outside arcadeflyers.com...
If any one of you bought it, would it be possible to work out a deal? I would happily pay you a little extra on top of the eBay price. :)
I'm sorry if I'm rude, but I felt that I must give it a try. I have been looking for this cabinet for some time now. :)
-
Well Nilfisk has an agreement with the seller and according to the unwritten DLF rules and common decency I would be next in line ...
-
No problem, of course I understand. It just seemed like you guys weren't that into it. :)
I hope I didn't offend you. Whoever ends up with it, please remember me if you ever decide to sell it. :)
-
WOW!!!! This is the coolest cab I have ever seen!!!
I would take one RIGHT AWAY if I would find one.
Its especially cool for you as you can consieder it being a cabaret (which is a drawback for me though).
What is the brand, any informations about that piece?
-
"So I _may_ be the new owner (I've stopped taking things for granted before the cab enters my basement)"
....and no online-sidekicks towards your body ;)
-
It is a sega cab
-
Thanks, guys, it's been loaded onto a truck yesterday and is already on its way to me.
Reg this thing being a SEGA cab: I've also read this over at the AZ forums, but I am not sure about this. Any link to a flyer or some other reference docs?
Thanks in advance!
Martin

Sure
-
I have that sega flyer printed and hanging in my game room. ;D
-
Curious and pretty cab. Ideal for vertical games... ;)

Love it !
But only if you are not into 2+ Button games. Will do for old school non-fighting games.
-
Exactly why I really liked it ! :D

There was one such robot cab in a thread here a couple of years ago. In pictures from an arcade shop/seller in Holland, I believe it was in Amsterdam. But that one wasn't in the same nice condition. No-one seemed interested in it at that time, though.

I can imagine that. :-X this cab is not a beauty, IMO

It's more cool than beautiful, I will give you that. :D

Well, tastes vary - I'd also take my Rock Ola 1448 over your SMC1 jukebox anytime :D
For me, this cab is "perfectly 80s", and as such, a great extension to my collection :)

Me too, if I had the cash. :)
-
And the beast arrived today ... :)
Very clean on the inside and outside. The monitor is a Nanao MC1400, which seems to be somewhat uncommon. Fortunately, the original manual and schematics for it are in the cab, as they don't seem to be available online yet (some folks over at the KLOV forums are obviously searching for them), so: scanning time :D

Yes, they do. One 12V bulb in each of them.
-
See, as I _do_ finish stuff occasionally, I finally found the time to grab the (now working) chassis I recently got back from Winfried, reassemble everything, and play a proper game of PENGO (Sega, 1983, just as the cab itself, so a perfect match ;D ).
