A list of most common and some very unusual types of EPROMs, all with links to their data sheets.

There are pinning overviews available, for both, 8-bit and 16-bit types.

There are also informations about mask programmable ROMs, those might be helpful if you plan to do some conversions...  :wink:

Any chance on a Mac version of Romwizard ? Not sure how you developed it ? Maybe it's "easy" portable ?

Oh and while we're at it....how about integrating Romident ? ( http://romident.coinopflorida.com )

No way to port it to Mac, I simply do have neither skills nor compilers...

I decided not to integrate romident functions because this would lead to a never ending update battle... But ROM-Wizard has an integrated "Ask Google" tool, just right-click on your ROM and choose "Google Suche..."

Then the SHA-String will be automatically forwarded to a Google search. Try it out. If Google doesn't find anything, your ROM is either unknown or corrupt.

So what do you use to write Rom Wizard ? We could have a look. It works fine on a Mac under Parallels but still....native is better.

I don't see the problem with using Romident, the URL is not moving s lot right ? Or am I missing something ? I don't mean integrating the entire database into your program, just passing on some strings ....

The Google search is OK but .....kinda crude IMHO.


Mind you, love the rest of the program !
