Title: Hitachi CRT tube / G07CB0 chassis. Need to identify deflection yoke wires!
Post by: DarthNuno on May 27, 2015, 04:32:00 PM
Well, I need to identify the four wires coming from this HITACHI CRT tube ref 510UJB22

I know these four wires are used for the X/Y deflection...

...but I really need to figure out what's what here ( H+ H- V+ V-)  ???

This tube was connected to an Electrohome G07CB0 chassis (not working anymore), like this

In the chassis manual (full version here (https://archive.org/stream/ArcadeGameManualG07/g07#page/n11/mode/2up), I can spot the Q1, Q3, Q4 & Q5 where these fours wires are plugged, but still can't tell which ones are for what?

I plan to use an brand new 'generic' chassis, but I would like to connect it to the Hitachi CRT tube previously used with the now broken G07CB0 chassis.

Any idea how to figure out what exactly are these four wires?  :-[

Measure the resistance between them, the lower value is horizontal, the higher is vertical.
