Played some last games on my Space Duel with my son this week (the cab is moving to England), the sounds of the explosions on the game are just so cool - as if a modern subwoofer is in there  :)

Played some last games on my Space Duel with my son this week (the cab is moving to England), the sounds of the explosions on the game are just so cool - as if a modern subwoofer is in there  :)

I worked on that machine but I can't even remember what I fixed.....it was pretty easy though AFAIR.....

Nice machine and I wondered about that woodgrain.....would there by side-art under it.....:)

today not so impressed  thought i would give it a good cleaning ,monitor has terrible tempest screen burn and screen centre has a couple of small what look like burn holes ? that´s pretty common. i have them on some of the vectors as well. i do not see them when the machines are on though. :)

Yeah very nice idea...BUT....the issue is finding the correct angle tube....the yoke that is used for the 19" 6100 and 25" Amplifone tubes is for 100 degree tubes. Good luck finding those in Europe....

I have a dream of using the tube from a B&O MX4000, but those are 110 degree. They are already pin-compatible to the Amplifone though.....
