Welcome !
Always great to find a fellow collector in The Netherlands !
That's a great find indeed ! It could have of course been running with an external 220V to 110 V transformer. However, you can very easily select the mains voltage on the power supply, that is if it's the same as the Galaxian which I guess so.
Does it run ?
What is it with Amsterdam ? All kind of discoveries have been made there recently. I got my Star Wars cockpit from there.
Were there more games in the barn ?
Would like to see pictures of all your machines !
-
hi and welcome here :) yeah i am curious if there are more games piled up there in that barn :)
nice collection you have there!
-
Hi Rob, and a warm welcome here :-*

Looks like they have Jamma connectors on them which actually makes it very easy to test them (if you have a Jamma cab, if not, I have one and you are invited to come and test them overhere if you like).
I'd like the 1942, the Pooyan and a Ms. Pac Man please !
Is that Popeye original Nintendo ? If so I'd love that too !
Dank je, André
P.S. what I didn't get, you definitely have that environmental version of Discs of Tron ?
If so, that is VVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYY special and rare here. Even in the US it's highly wanted !
-
Nice find!
I am interested in Shinobi and that second Zaxxon board. :D

Thanks for your invitations, I would like to come over after you
have finisched your gameroom.
Then I will take the p.c.b with me if you want.
All the p.c.b. are bootlegs is that a problem?
How far are you with the gameroom?
-
It's going fast ! Now painting everything. Have to do the floor (egaliseren) and then the vinyl over it. Then install some edge decoration everywhere, mount the wall outlets and connectors for the switchboxes and the neons, and we're ready to roll :)
Should be ready completely within 2 weeks. Will have to pick up and bring the first two cabs before next thursday though....

That is a fantastic news André :) I'm up for the inauguration day of course ::) :P :)

Hey Bruno, if anyone is welcome, it's you and "Nunnette" of course !!!! I'm glad I will be finally able to return the favor ;)
Arcadecollection: most welcome ! It's not a problem that they're bootlegs but they are (generally) less valuable.
Also, with the original Nintendo boards, the video signal is inverted to regular video signal. On the bootlegs it is normal video signals. This causes a problem when you want to switch boards inside a cab (like I have the MB with original monitor that expects inverted signals.
I already have a working Popeye bootleg, and I also have a bootleg Ms.Pac that I haven't tested yet but is most likely working.
So my "want" list is now the Pooyan and 1942....sorry :S
O and anyone interested in my gameroom project check out the entire story here:

Sorry that I didn't post this here, but it's too much work to maintain it on two sites....enjoy !
