Title: I would like help identifying a cabinet.
Post by: mumboking on September 19, 2014, 04:47:29 AM
This isn't something that needs to be done; I'm just curious...

Someone I'm following on Twitter recently posted these images of a Tekken 2 cabinet that he's seen.
The first images he posted were of some screen burn from "some Pac-Man thing". (Click to enlarge)

I think the screen burn is the first level of Ms. Pac Man.
Also, the instructions on the bezel mention "guard impact system", which seems to be from Soul Calibur.

I instantly Googled the cabinet and noticed that it's not the original.
I now wonder what it really is.

He then posted a pic of the full cabinet. (Click to enlarge)

My Googling leads me to believe it may have been a Robotron: 2084 cab originally... Is this true?

As I said, this isn't something I really need, so please don't let this take up too much of your time. :)

Yes, it looks like a Williams shaped cabinet.
