Title: wanted: (european) color code, RAL, for an orange Nintendo cab and DK jr parts
Post by: ckong on August 07, 2014, 01:45:02 PM
I want to repaint my (present green) Nintendo VS to the Nintendo orange color (someone in the US repainted the once orange cab to green), and eventually change it in the future to a DK jr.

So, does someone have a RAL code for me? And possibly some DK jr cab parts, like the bezel, marquee, CP, CPO, joystick, buttons, etc.

A trade of a VS unisystem cab, fully workingetc., for a DK jr. cab might also be an option.

Sidenote: dont trust RAL too much, it has a 10% allowed color difference.

You should bring the cab to the DIY store Bruno-style to match it LOL

Seriously, maybe best to get some color swatches from the DIY store and match it at home.

LOL. Yes, I might do that. I did it also that way with my DK, and that color is spot on.

Yeah, I'm saying because that was the way they matched the blue paint for my Ms.Pac to the stickers and it was absolutely PERFECT :)

DO watch outside with natural light though....I had chosen a different color while we were still inside the shop (TL lighting) and the seller already said no, it's the next one. So we walked outside and sure enough he was right.... :)
