Post by: Blanbek on June 10, 2014, 10:58:08 AM
Hello,

I would to replace my mtc900 Hantarex with a tv.

it is the same method as for jamma to scart (resistors value) ?

but with same 2 sync wires attached like my cabling konami ?

Thanks, Berny

You don't need resistors.

You only need one sync line --> c-sync (which is horizontal + verical sync merged on one line).

You don't need resistors.
I disagree.

me too.

They might not be necessary in every single case but it's not a fault to use them!

You are putting out of spec values into SCART inputs without the resistors. Wether they will survive this in the long run..... ::)

Most TVs have internal circuitry to level input signals ... wether they are to high or to low. I have a TV in one cab that works perfekt now for more than 6 years. If your tv isn't capable of handling wrong signal-levels you will recognize that pretty fast. The pic will look awful right from the start. Then it's time to use resistors of course ;)
