Title: Bezel fixing - what kind of color to use?
Post by: Digimon on May 04, 2014, 06:38:55 PM
Hi guys,

what kind of color you would use to fix the missing white on this bezel?

as you can see, only the white is to add:

I have a small set of glass paints from a craft store that I've used in the past. There is 7 or so colours that's enough to slightly tint white as needed. I used it to fill in some scratches for The Invaders, however in this case there was an additional complication with getting the opacity correct for the back light. For your bezel, you shouldn't have to worry about that :)

Paul.

I used Edding Paint Markers for touching in damaged or missing paint. You can get 3 different thicknesses of tip and they come in a nice range of colours. Very quick and easy to use and an excellent result especially on black or white paint areas.

I think a can of spray paint gives best result, no stripes when backlitted.
