mmmm I am a responsible parent and that is a 370 degr.C soldering iron......don't think I would do something like that.....:)
It's so funny because every time I get out the soldering station he asks me if he can do the soldering :)
Thinking about such jokes: I love jokes and the more the better, but when safety is an issue, don't fuck around with me.......I once had a colleague who blew some cigarette smoke from a device I was working on while I was very concentrated AND standing on a small ladder. I almost fell and the guy probably still feels the pain in his face from my fist......
Another story:
Years ago my parents in law had a caravan. It was standing on the same location for years and years but when they got too old it had to be removed. My brother in law was checking some mechanic stuff while laying on his back under it to see if it would still be fit to travel one last time on the road. All of a sudden he starts shouting as if he was in great pain and I nearly had a heart attack because I thought he might be squashed by the caravan or something like that....I couldn't see his upper half of his body....
When he noticed my fear he started laughing out loud....it was a joke....
Following that I got so angry that I kicked his legs with all the power I have in my right leg and because of that he smacked his head against the caravan VERY badly......following that he crept from under the caravan and chased me like nuts. I'm telling you I was younger and less big as I am now, but I was still a lot heavier than him but he never caught me......I never ran so fast in my life....
We laugh about that story now....but really.....I don't like jokes like that.....people can get hurt and there is no fun in that.

I am with you, i totally understand what you mean Andre
Sometimes the danger / damage the "Joker" creates is bigger than the actual subject.
Anyway, a pecfect example is this :

they are laughing at the end, but i can understand that banana guy very much, it would give me also almost a heart attack when someone pulls a joke like that..

Mark already has more soldering skills then me! ;D ;)

I agree, partially. Sometimes you don't consider that something bad can happen.
But hey, always going the safe way might mean: no fun at all! ;)
