I almost missed out on getting one of these awesome repro Gravitar posters by krajkerjac from the KLOV forum while I voted for it to be repro'd but he still has 2 of them left.
Anyone else want one so we could split shipping costs ?

I believe he also still has some other posters still left, but not many, check out this thread for what he has done so far:

Damn if money wouldn't be an issue I would have bought them all...
-
those posters are soooo cooool!!! which they'd be available in good digital format somewhere, some of them (e.g. like the joust poster) would make fabulous cabinet toppers
-
unable to see the thread hence my account is still limited...can someone recommend my nick :)
-
same for me. i'm limited too.

Ugh, stop putting stuff on pieces of art that are gorgeous by themselves !!!
It's like taking Doutzen Kroes and putting a flower pot on her head, thinking that would make her prettier....
Or buying a vintage Cadillac and put the sales flyer on the roof....it just doesn't make sense !!!
It is NOT how those machines were standing in the arcade BITD !!!
OK rant over ;) Do whatever you like....but IMHO the machines are the beauty's......in Dutch we say: A fine wine doesn't need a laurel....

i'm not allowed to see this thread ???
And I don't have a limited account
What's the name of the thread on KLOV?

Krajkerjac Reproduction Posters Thread

Looks fine here , that guy did buy some of my alustickers and seems like a nice guy to do business with IYAM.
-
I pm'ed krajkerjac and he doesn't have anything else left.... The joust poster was actually run twice due to demand! I can imagine that! that artwork is fabulous !
So, anyone want the 2nd Gravitar poster ?
-
I wish he would supply the files so everybody could do his own print ::)
-
I'm still waiting for the Centipede poster and maybe the Missile Command (Otherwise, I've got the Joust).
Luigi, Superully : krajkerjac does a great job with the posters and that's worth the price.

And ??? ?
About Krajkerjack : I'm know him very well indeed and you've got one of his posters too or not ?
-

I don't know what he does with the posters....if he simply scans and prints them or if he has hard times restoring them.
I never said they are too expensive and I don't think he's making the big money of it, but it's indeed a lot of money for a poster (IMHO) + shipping.
Fact is, the repro run is over, he might never do another one nor will he print a single one for a single person....that's why I wish he would share the files so everyone can have them printed in his favourite printshop.
No offense against anyone here!! :)

you were saying? :P
btw, i don't remember framed arcade posters on the walls BITD either ...

never said they weren't, it's just that i'd like to have them in the size most suitable for my purposes. hopefully, the files / scans will become available at some point in the future!
-
someone is not fond of toppers ::)

That's why mine are over my bed...... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
They were there in some arcades in the US.....I guess......never saw them here, I admit it, but hanging on the wall is something completely different... ;D
Yes they're not el-cheapo but it's low-run numbers. Not exactly like having a chance on them in any other way....and sorry guys, no I'm not going to scan it....
-
....and sorry guys, no I'm not going to scan it....
I swear that I didn't think even for a second about that!!! :)
-
just ask the guy for the files, maybe he does want to share them now the run is sold out
it never hurts to aks whatever the outcome may be IYAM..
-
I don't think so....he'd shoot himself in the foot for future (and current) runs. The idea is that the runs are limited so they stay up in value...
He's doing Warlords now.......god Atari was the master of artworks...

-
I also think he won't give them away to make sure he can do further runs with them (seems to make at least some money with the posters, eh? ;) )
-
Yeah well nothing wrong if he earns a few bucks. He does have to do the work, the printing costs and don't forget buying the originals which is not exactly cheap !
-
Of course, no problem with that. The work to ship all these tubes is enough reason to take some bucks for it ;)
As far as I understood he did a bulk buy of some NOS stuff...don't know what he paid for the lot. Was there a thread about it?
