Hi everybody.
I'm looking for three (better four) of these leafswitches with actuators.
Any hint wehere I could 'chase' them? :)
Thanks
Luigi

These look rare, never seen these before. That lower leaf must be hard to get. What game are they from?

Well games like Ms.Pac Man etc. have similar switches except for that half round metal part on the lower side of the pic....it looks a bit like a weight, is this switch used as a tamper or tilt switch ?
Pinball switches are also very similar. Suzo still sells a lot of different "pinball" switches:

Be sure to scroll through all the pages, there are various kinds of switches but none of them look exactly like that one but maybe one of them may work ?
Let me know if you need to order, I have an account with them.

Well, it's from my Guided Missile. Thanks to Speleo and Klaus-Peter is fully functional again!! It's a great game, never had expected it to be that good, especially when played together :)
I wanted to do some work to the controlpanel. This is a pain in the @ss! It doesn't have those clamps you simply can open to remove it from the cab. There are two screws, one on each side. You have to screw them out to losen the panel. Due to those large joysticks you have no space underneath the controlpanel to move and you can not remove them before you have removed the panel, because you have to desolder the wires to remove them from the wood....really  I consider to install such clamps LINK (http://www.arcadeshop.de/Accessoires-Spannverschluss_315.html)
OK, so here you see one of the joysticks. 3 out of 4 leaf switches are broken. The one on the picture is the only one that is complete. I guess it's impossible to find a replacement so I will try to find another solution....

cant you reproduce that part of the switch at your work ?
i remember that you are very good in metal repro work ::)
or perhaps take another leafswitch as a donor and fix that rounded part to it, it just acts like a bearing / guide if i see it right
do you have the broken parts still or are they gone ?
-
Etienne, I think those actuators are long gone. I might take a closer look inside the cab but I think they won't be there. If you take a look at the leafswitch with the broken 'leg' you can see the most right contact has been bent towards the joystick shaft. It's the same with the leafswitches on the other stick. I guess they were bent to make sure you can make contact at all with the actuator missing.
I already have some ideas how to replace them :)

Something like this

Replacing a leaf with a microswitch....... ::) ::)
It's way too small too ;)
-
André, there's no way I would replace them with microswitches and I guess he means the actuator ;)
Some guy at KLOV said he might have some NOS...if not, I think I have a decent solution to replace them...have to talk to my 'co-worker' at the company tomorrow ;)

He found some.....and wants $20 per switch + $13 for the shipping...oh dear, why did I ever start collecting this stuff? :'(
-
Why not use this one: http://flipperteile.com/Schalter---Kontakte/Kontakte/Kontaktsatz-Wolfram.html
Just remove the lower contact.
Or build your own as needed: http://flipperteile.com/Schalter---Kontakte/

The 2nd link is cool, didn't know that :)
Naja, bevor ich so nen Schalter für 9,40€ kaufe und dann noch was dran rumbastle, kann ich auch für ~14€ die Originalen Teile kaufen ;)
I might consider to sell some other stuff...I'd really like to go the original path ::)
