Here you can see a video of the problem:

Please help me....

Game has a problem with the circuit that controls left road margin. It has to wawe in ordet to simulate different road width but in your case goes in one direction only. I don t remember which part of schematics is involved in this function, sorry

@glstar
Do you have electronics knowledge, a logic probe to test signals and can you replace IC's w/o damaging the PCB?
http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Arcade_Manuals_and_Schematics/Monaco_GP_Stand_Model_(420-0445).pdf
See p.35 and attached PDF - this is the area where the left/right side movements are generated.
My bet is on one of the 161's or 157's - I have repaired a couple of PCB sets recently ;-)
-
I'll try...
Thank's both for your help guys.
:)

I just see that now after i clean all the boards, now i cannot see the other computer cars..... :-[
What if i send the boards to you for repair??
;D

this is the best way to stop all suggestions hehe
;)
about computer cars: clean all boards again with a good deoxid spray paying attention to all ICs socketed. GOOD ATTENTION :)

I'll try to clean it again with good care and attention....
Don't worry about my request....
I was only joking... ;)

Hello to all the cab of MonacoGP is mine.
GLSTAR is my friend and had written for me on forum.
you can have your measurements of the rear panel? (not present on mine )
In the meantime I'm trying to find the ICs to be replaced I devote myself to repair the shell.
Thank you.

Hi,
I have changed all IC 161 and 157 signed on Pag. 35 of manual but the problem is the same....
help.....

This is the situation after changing all the IC 157 and IC 161 described in the manual page. 35 seems much worse than before ...
my electronic knowledge does not go beyond.
If any person can fix it let me know, the trouble will be well paid.
thanks

Monqaco GP is a pin in the ass to repair cause of no CPU and not so much troubleshooting infos.
If you want to repair a PCB looking at schematics is not enough, be sure to have the right tools
first of all you have to know how to change an IC without damage the PCB, change the ICs using ALWAYS a socket.
Please don't use gun-solders but something good for small parts and pins
Then be sure how to identify a not working chip. Do you have a TTL probe? an Oscilloscope? Multimeter?
Did you tests all voltages? Did you check PROMS?
Repairing an old board sometimes is a nightmer but in the end it is an exciting challeng ;)

If you are merely replacing old chips by new ones and you do it correctly, then the problem can not get worse from that.
There must be other reasons: intermittent/new problems occuring or incorrectly assembled or damaged during repair.
As Marco said, Monaco GP is a nightmare for repairing, and if you have a game that was not runnning for a while, you may face multiple failures.
Also they often do not run stable after the first repair and the next problem occurs within a short time.
There is a Monaco GP boardset that I have spent 10 hrs + material on ... you can buy a working cab for this.
I do board repairs for most of the Bronze and Golden Age Arcade Games until 1985, all Sega, Midway, Atari, Williams ... - but this is one I definitely do NOT offer for others.
Problem is the uncertainty, how many problems are in the set of the four boards - you don't know until you have fixed the last one.
For a repair you need to find someone who has the fixture to measure on all of the boards, experience would be good, test/desolder equipment, ability to verify/burn the PROMs, a cab for testing and to spend some time for fun / learning.
Good Luck!
@Marco: PROMS are not common and mostly are soldered in anyway ...

Unfortunately I have neither the means nor the ability to go beyond the weld,
so if someone had the ability and desire to fix it let me know, as I said will be well paid for the work.
or if anyone has a working PCB I would be willing to buy it.
thanks

Hi all,
Hy have buyed a spare and untested PCB, after change the problem is still present but litter better ...
It' possible on both pcb have a same or similar problem ???
http://youtu.be/2KK9URpeW-A
-
this is definitely better.
road is ok, you can find schematics about "other cars" and "my car". this is a start.
now you have 2 boardset you can swap board 1 and 2 in order to understand each single problem is located
-
in reality there is no integrated socket on the "new" PCB then I do not know what exchange for the other cars I think it is a ROM, but the strange thing is that the screen in the correct written while the video seems to be vierticale not synchronized and the car stutters when you play ...
-
NEWS!!!
This is the video after change on both the PCB video with Others (seems broken on both) but on blue road little graphics problem is still present...

Great, now you have to work on sxhematic sheet called "my car"
But first of all back track the my car signal starting from video mixing circuit
-
Thanks but for me is "Arabic" :o
