Title: Looking for Jamma (Steering wheel) race game PCB
Post by: Vond on October 03, 2013, 10:52:13 PM
Anyone knows where I can find a Jamma race game that supports a steering wheel? Anywhere to get a good deal?
Im asking because I am currently maintaining a local arcade that has a Zaccaria Universal Cockpit(I believe its1983) that I suspect has been converted to
use Jamma (or were these cabs meant to support Jamma?) The cab has a Steeringwheel (potmeter) and Gas and brake pedals (both potmeters) and some other
buttons (start/credit/ 2way gear switch)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The JAMMA Standard was introduced in '85, so I'd also suppose it's a conversion.

Gaelco's WORLD RALLY is a JAMMA racer, iirc.

Cheers,
Martin

The jamma standard have not analog inputs in its pinout: it's very likely that every "jamma" racing game have analog inputs (steer, pedals) connected in different positions on the connector or have an additional connector ;)

I think I have a World Rally board laying around. Don't know how much to charge for it though.
