I'm thinking of putting all my handhelds as a perk on Indiegogo to fund my book, but I want to expose it on Ebay (to get it found).
My idea was to use Ebay France petite annonces as my intention is not to set up a real auction there.
Now Petite annonces is discontinued, but Ebay France offers a cheap simple option on the regular site. In a way even better as that is searched by international Ebay sites as well.
My question is: can I use it to set up a make an offer sale on it or bidding from say 9000€? Do you pay any fees on that (with one picture the listing itselfs seems free).? I basically only want exposure and people to contact me if interested. Not sell on Ebay itself.
On the Dutch Ebay site this is impossible.

Simply put: you want the advantages of ebay but not pay for it......

Pay is not the problem, I don't want people to buy it on Ebay.

I don't get it.

There is no difference between Ebay France and Ebay on other countries.
-
There is. On France you can sell a thing without setting up seller paypal etc. I get way more options than if I want to make an ad on the NL site.

I don't get it.
I have to reach my goal on Indiegogo. If someone buys the lot on Ebay, I have to wait for that money, then I can pay myself on Indiegogo and I have to deliver within a few days, which conflicts with the idea of making a book with the games, takes too much time and reduces the profit with say 10% on all fees.
So I need Ebay only as advertisement, because people look there for the stuff.
So any ideas on how to use Ebay for that without running into conflict with their policies are appreciated.
Maybe just an insane price is good enough for that.

Get it. You're still wanting services without paying for them, I don't care with humongous companies like ebay but in theory this isn't "right".
However, I just bought two items through German eBay without paying through PayPal. They still allow direct bank transfers there.

I don't mind paying, but setting up a complete seller account like required in NL is a bit too much just for one listing.

Yeah I agree about that. I never sold anything through them because of that and other reasons. And eBay in Holland is only popular for buying stuff from abroad.
