Title: Nintendo Buttons
Post by: simplesi on April 12, 2013, 05:42:11 PM
Hi,

I was wondering if I can get some advice from the Nintendo "buffs" here? I have a Nintendo Space Firebird and it's missing one of the player select buttons.

I want to replace it, but the button has a metal screw that connects directly with the Omron microswitch underneath.

My question for you all is are the upright buttons made the same? If you remove the actual "button" from the plastic bezel (which connects the buttons to the control panel), does the "button" connect via a metal screw, or is it a clip in?

Could someone put up a couple images of a dismantled Nintendo button please?

Many thanks,

Si

hey si, wanted to answer to your pm, but since you posted here as well, why not put my answer here?

to make it short: the buttons and the holders of the upright and the cocktail are absolutely identical!

Thanks Ully. Placing an order for Mike's Arcade.

My outbox doesn't have a record of me pm'ing you. I thought I would post here instead. Is there a problem with the messages outbox for other people?

Si
