Title: A lucky way to identify a pcb
Post by: Belike on March 23, 2013, 04:16:50 PM
The story started at Eurocade 2012,  Psykick had a lot of pcbs for sale and Robin spotted one with a red Zacc serial in it, marked as "The Pit".
It was sitting on a shelf until this week, when I had some time to make a jamma adapter for it.
Accidentaly there was also a Fitter pcb on my desk and when I put the 2 boards next to each other I saw this :o

I already have a jamma adapter for the Fitter, so I just had to fire it up with that. :D
No, it was not another Fitter, but one of my most wanted pcbs. ;D

As you can see there were some graphic issues, but after a bit of reseating everything works fine ;D

Yeah, it is a Taito Portman/Dockman a really cool simple, but challenging game. :D

What a cool coincidence! I remember you asked to identify this game a long time ago on DLF and now it almost magically lands in your hands! Happy for you Béla!
I'll check it in MAME sometimes 'cause I've never tried it neither.

It was a great and lucky find, thanks for your nice comments, to Robin for pointing me on it and to Psykick to sell it for me for a nice price. :spaceace:
