A few weeks before Xmas, I spotted a nice and fully original Quasar on local auction site.
As most of you know, I already have a nice Quasar from Pascal, but it does not have the original monitor and has a Hantarex MTC 9300 chassis.
The price was a bit high, so I had to wait for a while, but after a few weeks of negotiations, finally I picked up the cab just 10 kms from my place. :D
The seller had a small garage fully loaded with cabs, there was aslo a nice Namco Cyber Cycles.

It was just a half an hour ride in dark, so no roadtrip pics this time, enjoy the cab. :D

There is small damage on the upper right side of the cab, fortunately that is just the black part, a bit of tlc and black paint will help here

The protective plastic is also present under the cp, which is quite rare these days

For Etienne ;)

And for André, the Zacc-Philips instruction sheet :D

From the yellow sticker on the pcb and from this one, seems like it was in Austria for a while:

The cab is fully working and have a crystal clear screen (you won't see too much in this pic from it) :D

And the cardboard bezel with the usual small cracks

I'm preparing for the attacks like "you don't need more than 1 from each cab, blabla bla", but I guess most of us wouldn't be able to miss this one. ;D ;D ;D

Those Zaccaria cabs have really great art on them :spaceace:
-
Nice ! ;)
-
Nice sheet ! :)
But I guess that's only a Philips tube in there, or is that monitor a Philips too ?
-
Afaik, it is a Philps KT-3 monitor. ;)
-
Very nice, Bela. It seems that it has the same side art colours as my Moon Crest.
And fully working! Great catch. :)

but I guess most of us wouldn't be able to miss this one. ;D ;D ;D
of course not, I am completely with you;-)
There should always be room for another Zacc;-) in some years we will have them all in our "Zaccaria Reservation" with a small ranger patrol;-)
GREAT CATCH (and I am jealous about the Bezel ;))

this steel plate seems to be a typical customizing:

and I think you need some Coin Slots and new lights:

I have a few spare coin doors with inserts, next week I will start to clean and restore the cab a bit. ;)
-
Really nice Bela. Let me know when you're pcb arrives! Just to let you know it came from a machine from Texas. :-)

Thanks for your nice comments, this cab really deserved to be saved.
Unfortunately the trend in Hungary is to drill 6 or 12 holes in the cp and put a freakin Mortal Kombat pcb to the cab, I couldn't let that happen. :D
