Let me translate the specs :
Height of the statue ...2,40 meters !!! :o :o :o
Made in one part, full of resin. In other word : no disassembling!
Weight : approx 70 kg
Only 10 made in the world.
Displayed one time for the world premier of the movie.
Perfect condition.
Can be loaded in a Mercedes sprinter
Starting price @ 1500€ right here (http://www.befr.ebay.be/itm/HULK-Geant-/251128785560?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_23&hash=item3a78712a98)
Now the interesting thing : I got a mail from the seller who would like to trade it against my Star Wars Arcade Trilogy. So it means you can have that statue for the price I'm asking of it : 1150 €
I know very well the price of life size things, and I call tell you that this Hulk is an amazing item, and a real bargain at that price...even @ 1500€ (yes, I know it's a lot of €€€€ nowadays... but this Hulk is really something you won't see again for sale! Just check the prices of 'mini' star wars statues or simple bust to compare...)
The fact for me is ... I'm not an Hulk fan, and I don't have a free space for it... but damn it, what an 'incredible' item to own!!!
-
 I need a warehouse!
Please if you're really my friends, stop me from buying it when I'll find one.
-
Very nice indeed, too bad I haven't have the space and fund for those things :(
There is now also a lifesize Sonic on marktplaats for 750 euro.

Maybe it can be disassembled?
750€ is a 'buy it now' price?
-
the same statue is standing in our local game store, it's gigantic!!!!!
-
Not that I can afford it (darn it) :(
but how much is 750 euro in USD? ;)
-
Can someone translate the ad in English?
google can :P
the "unit" can be disassembled into smaller pieces!!!
750 euros = 925 bucks atm (damn, that conversion rate was so much better a long long time ago!)
-
You could also settle for a little cheaper and smaller. 20th anniv. Sonic statue for "only" 450 euros ;)

Everybode seems to like those things and everybody has the same problem, size and price.
So for me the next best thing that was affordable and not too small (90 cm high) i came across this week:
Tomb raider statue. It's not Mario or Sonic but at least it's a game character.
Photo's are taken from internet, not mine.

Thing is a certain guy who used to be a friend in this hobby had a life-sized Joker in his gameroom. This was situated in his basement and in the half dark and silent surrounding, that damn thing made me startle EVERYTIME I walked across it....to enhance the effect the guy moved it between my visits ;)
My son walked in the largest possible circle around it.... ;D
-
LOL... I've a similar problem with my daughter.... Last time she was with me in the game room, she saw ... Darth Maul
... she watched him ... and I saw her face turning... she was scared! Now, I avoid Darth Maul when I'm with my daughter!

I got a little Sonic figure from Joypolis in Tokyo. I've read that it's only available there. Picture from the internet:

Ha, had almost the same with my son (19 year). I had 'parked' the statue in his room and the evening he came home and opened his bedroomdoor he was startled and thought what the f... ;D
I agree that when you have a big scary lifelike statue it can be a bit too much, hence i regret that it wasn't a small statue of Sonic or Mario or some other cute game character, but those are usual very small (10 - 20 cm) or very expensive. Haven't come across other game statues of around 1 m under 100 euro. :(
-
That Joker statue is so freakingly real-looking.....it beats the hell out of any Madama Tussaud pathetic statues....
look at this, it looks even twice as real in real life....

Hell I was scad of Langnek from the Efteling when I was a little kid....no wonder your daughter is scared of Dath Moul Bruno ! :)
