Last Friday we went to Aviodrome (www.aviodrome.nl) again after some years. They were very close to a bankruptcy but got saved in the end.
I remembered they had one of my grails there, an Airline Pilots so I wondered if it was still there.
To me utter surprise and happiness, they had actually put ANOTHER one next to it, so there were now two of them both working OK.
So after we had "done" the entire museum, we of course had to play. My son was first. Helped him through the menus and he started with the first training. He passes the take off easily and progressed to the next training, flying "through the boxes" and making turns while maintaining altitude. Again, no mistakes and on he went to the third training mission, landing. He put the big bird down like it is is every day job and so went on to the first "real" mission, flying with one defective engine. He failed there.
So it was my turn. To my disgrace I FAILED the take off training right away, I was too low at one part and tried to correct abruptly. So in goes another euro (very fair price IMHO, 1 euro per game...) and now I pass the take off mission but fail the next one. This hasn't happen to me before AFAIR and you can imagine my sons smile on his face and my utter shame the rest of the day ;););)
Airline Pilots. I want one !!!!! Even though I don't have the space......
