Thanks to the January sales, I got this *boxed* Atomic Pinball by TOMY in a second hand shop...

OK, there's a small crack on the plastic glass, close to the right flipper but it's minor and it doesn't perturb the game.

 And it works, yes!

...but it seems that the sounds are missing. You can hear a 'bing bing' each time the ball hits a bumper. I don't have that sound. You can hear it in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLgbEx5NgOo) (not mine).

I'll have to check what could be wrong on mine. Maybe a simple wire to the speakers disconnected? Anyway, I'm already very happy for that bargain  8)

You were lucky  ;) I didn't have that one BUT I used to play on it in the supermarket (toys area) while my parents went for (boring) shopping.
 As I revenge, I have it now...at last!  ;D

I'm just wondering how can you play on that pinball with a Dr.Pepper Zero in one hand. ;D
Anyway, looks cool, can't wait for that sound investigation report. ;)

And that youtube video  ;) :P

Hey yes, thanks for this useful link  :)

Those Tomy mechanical games are amazing. I think the total living standard of Singapore (is it made there too?) is reached by collectively assembling Tomy mech games in the late 70's early 80's. Jealous at your find!
