I can recommend buying the Datel Wireless Classic controller for Wii, if you need a controller to play different games on the IPAD.
It works without having to connect it to a Wiimote like on the original classic controller and functions perfectly with the IPAD.

Incredible... I tried it just like the instructions said, and got the iExplorer program... dropped in some of my favorite ROMS... and wow.
Be right back, I'm getting in a time machine and I'm going to give this iPhone to myself back in 1982! 8)

OK, on the risk of looking like a no-no, but how do I get my Fav Roms in it ?

Cool! Installed it right away and it works like a charm. I used the iExplore program as Sonic recommended and dragged and dropped some of my fav roms from the mame on my computer to my iPad2, turned it off and on again and it was on like donkey kong! ;D

Ah, I had to read the article better. Yes the iExplorer program is free and you have to install it on your Mac or PC (so don't get the similar named apps for the iPad !)

Yes it is. I have both and they look the same.
Just FYI, an untethered jailbreak is available now for all idevices except ipad2 and iphone4s.

Well they are working on finding an exploit on the A5, pod2g says they are getting closer, but do not have one yet.

Yeah, it's his forum he can do whatever he wants of course. But it's not against the forum rules (#5) which I fully support.
Then again, the "Girls & Arcade" thread doesn't exactly seem to follow rule nr. 3..in fact, it was started by Bruno....but I hear nobody complaining.....

All the pictures are PG-13, obviously suggestive for few of them, but no nudity at all ;) Be sure I moderate that.
Now, if you want to discuss about some rules here, feel free to PM me ;) ...and back to topic please.
Or dear, the iMame previously available is no more on App Store? Let's hope that one wil be back again 'officially' soon. Some may choose to jailbreak their device... but not mu cup of tea.
I've done a backup of my iPad2. I hope on the next sychro or iOS upgrade it will be available, or I will lose it too :-[
It's fun to see/play the games on that device, but I must admit, it's almost unplayable with the touch screen.

Hey I never really noticed, but I upgraded to 5.1 about just when it was available and the MAME app is still there and working. Didn't notice it before because I honestly rarely use it. Anyway it is safe to upgrade....
....and I see very little problems in discussing forum rules in public, after all this forum was meant for us and is co-created by us by filling it with awesome info and stuff :)

Grabbed this but everything is totally unplayable on my iPad 1. Even the really old games. Choppy as hell. Tried the speedhack in mame but alas... Any tip Liquidx? Buying a iPad 4?

I just wanted it to see which games I liked, etc, etc. adding games to my mame machine is harder than adding files to my ipad, plus the namco app with galaga and pacman and some other games isn't free to play any more. Disappointed :evil:

not really imho. iMame is a special build based on mame4all that isn't really a common or regular distribution. If I remember well its based on a 0.37 version
