Title: wg 27" gauntlet legends monitor help !

Hi all,

I have a gauntlet legends cab, the monitor just makes a ticking noise.  I measure the voltage at the bridge rectifier output at about 65v, and the B+ is on and off, ie its tripping....  any ideas what may cause this, or where the fault may lie approximately ?

I'm a super electro noob but one of my monitors did that because the protection around the high voltage cable had become porous and wasn't isolating the wires well anymore.
Just had to wrap an isolating plastic thingy around it and heat it up with an air dryier to fix the problem. Hope that helps.
